As soon as the team stopped their indie experiments and went full-force on Rust, the game became leagues ahead of all other survival games. Big kudos to everyone on the team, working on this masterpiece.
problem is. Its going farther and farther from a survival game. its becoming a more competitive PVP game, i'd like to see them make the game harder in general and especially for clans. as well as make it more realistic in terms of guns, natural threats, building etc. kind of like DAYZ which was the inspiration for rust in the first place

Even though I worry each month that the next update will bring an end to my days of playing since I have a toaster of a laptop, FacePunch still deserves high praise for the content they put out time and time again.
Rust is dead now. ESP'ers will be able to see your base 1500m+ away and clans will wreck everyone with homing missile launchers and attack helis..... sad to see what this game has become

New patch is awesome! For so many years this game turned from rust to GEM. So many patches behind and I still see the fire in eyes of developer, many thanks to you Facepunch you are really THE best!
Wish on the final scene where we see the chopper and launcher in action that they'd gone for more zooms, more distance, more attached-to-the-heli shots, and more low-angle shots.
Only thing missing is that homing missiles out of a manpad move with speeds up to mach 2 and not with a speed that Usain Bolt can outrun. Great update with great features none the less!
@facepunch hear me out! Create a pressurized machine that we can put coal into, which we can then take the diamonds and tech trash ect or create trip wires that cause a BOOM! Would create a whole another element to raiding bases!

As a solo who rarely gets past tier 2, this doesnt help me. That being said i can't wait to see the big clan battles with this stuff. Nighttime parachute raiding like navy seals, crazy air battles, etc. Gonna be done fun TH-cam videos soon

Since there's a slot for parachute, how 'bout a slot for a backpack i e extra storage? The more items in the backpack the slower the movement for instance. Just a thought.

FP: Next we're coming out with a carrier for massive ocean conflicts with 12 sub bays 14 heli pads 42 SAM sites and room for 120 beds w lockers.
