- Escape from SUFFERING with the teachings of BUDDHA, PathToPeace
In modern life, we cannot avoid pain and suffering from many different causes, from small events in daily life to great losses. Today's video will guide you to explore the path to freedom from suffering through the profound teachings of the Buddha, based on the Four Noble Truths - the four noble truths that he taught more than 2600 years ago.
We begin with the First Noble Truth: Dukkha, the truth of suffering. The Buddha pointed out that suffering is inevitable in life, from birth, aging, sickness, death to relationships, work, and ourselves. Once we understand this, we will begin the journey to freedom from suffering by recognizing and accepting the presence of suffering.
Next is the Noble Truth of Suffering, the cause of suffering. The Buddha explained that the origin of all suffering comes from craving - uncontrolled desires and expectations. When we cling to impermanent things like money, fame or love, disappointment and suffering arise when we fail to obtain them.
The Noble Truth of the Cessation of Suffering is the truth about the cessation of suffering. Although suffering is a part of life, the Buddha showed that we can end it. True liberation comes when we let go of craving and no longer cling to impermanent things.
Finally, there is the Noble Truth of the Path, the path to the cessation of suffering - the Noble Eightfold Path. The eight factors of the Noble Eightfold Path include Right View, Right Thought, Right Speech, Right Action, Right Livelihood, Right Effort, Right Mindfulness and Right Concentration. By practicing the Noble Eightfold Path, we gradually let go of attachment, purify our minds and live a life of compassion and wisdom.
In this video, we will listen to the touching story of Kisa Gotami, a mother who lost her child, and how she overcame this pain thanks to the teachings of the Buddha. Through the story, we will learn valuable lessons about impermanence, the cause of suffering, and the power of compassion.
The journey to freedom from suffering is not about avoiding or denying difficulties in life, but learning to face them with wisdom and compassion. Remember, every challenge is an opportunity for us to grow and move closer to enlightenment.
Through daily mindfulness and meditation practices, you can develop true peace and happiness from within, step by step freeing yourself from suffering and finding the path to true happiness.
