I believe the retirement crisis will get even worse. Many struggle to save due to low wages, rising prices, and exorbitant rents. With homeownership becoming unattainable for middle-class Americans, they may not have a home to rely on for retirement either.
Got it! Buying stocks during a recession when prices are down could be a good move. You might get them at a lower price and sell later when they go up. Just do your homework and be aware of the risks before diving in!
@@FlorentGulliver That's awesome! Investing in stocks with a reliable trading system can lead to great outcomes. It's fantastic that you've been working with a financial advisor for a year now. Starting with less than $200K and being just $19,000 away from making half a million in profit is impressive! Keep up the good work!

Great video, as usual. I would've included York County. Great place with a lot to offer. 4th fastest growing county in the state, close to Charlotte and all there is to do there, Lake Wylie, golf, town centers, greenways/parks, close to one of the busiest airports in the World (CLT), choice between suburban/rural/55+ communities, solid 4-season climate, centrally located to both Carolinas.
Lexington SC is wonderful in every way. Moved here 4 months ago. Love it! Wonderful people, low cost of living. Researched it for months- Portland Oregon sucked on so many levels. Did not bring any Blue State mentality with us- don’t worry. Love it here.
My husband and I are looking to move to SC. I am in the process of researching the cost of living, taxes and even the crime rates. I see you are sharing how much you like Lexington, but could you tell me about the crime rate?
@@Jo-AnnWest-m6r there are bad areas but it is confusing because they are very close to Good low crime areas so this is only a generalization. You can google crime statistics by zip code on-line. Takes a long time though but worth it. Make sure you also google flood maps to make sure you are not in any high risk area. Your insurance agent should also be helpful with all of this. All I can say is it’s a very friendly state and the bulk of what I did find were property related crimes. Burglary and such but very very low compared to the big city we came from. You can also google cost of living charts on line by cities and zip codes. For us it was a whopping 20 to 25 percent cheaper. Check out cost of living comparisons by city
@@Jo-AnnWest-m6r crime rate in this town/community is very low. Per my research as well as comments from our home and car insurance agent. Great place just a slower pace on just about everything.
Up to the Northern part of the State- Greenville area is cooler. July and August can be brutal for heat/humidity but the other 10 months are pretty nice overall.
I love Lindsay’s videos. Hoping to retire here and hopefully some of our family will follow us here! What about Mount Pleasant? We are moving here from the West and look forward to live closer to the coast. Worried a bit about big storms that require evacuation. How after does that happen? Aiken also looks like a great place too.

We just visited Greenville, Aiken and Myrtle Beach. Our favorite was Greenville but we enjoyed our time on the Coast!
That sounds like a fun trip! Glad you enjoyed your time in SC 🙂

Thank you. I'm ready to leave this godforsaken state of NY... Not from NYC... VERY FAR FROM! But I'm ready!

I am still looking at Aiken,South Carolina
We are thinking of moving here too. Have you had time to research the stats like Crime Rate, Climate and the taxes?
Hi! My husband & I are looking to retire to SC. What locales have cooler summers? I hate the heat & humidity!
Up to the Northern part of the State- Greenville area is cooler. July and August can be brutal for heat/humidity but the other 10 months are pretty nice overall.
Don’t go to coast
The key is if you find a great place don't broadcast it to others. Otherwise, the place will get overcrowded. I'm speaking from personal experience.
My wife and I would love to move to the Carolinas. But there are multiple nuclear power plants an their waste storage areas both in NC and SC ?
Stay in NY they need your retirement money.
2,870 miles of coastline…lol
Definitely meant “shoreline” not coastline. Mistakes happen 😆
Nowhere. Go somewhere not stuck in 1989
ANY CITY NOT FLORIDA 👿
😢😢😢
No good place in SC where people are...
Go live on the moon..capnrik6397
Proves my point😮
