      @@homidayesmax1246lmao😂😂😂 literally Jokic is more consistent and more dominant player in his prime than Lebron 😂😂😂 and this is not disrespect to Lebron, Jordan is my GOAT for now and I'm also saying that Jokic in his prime plays even greater than Jordan because Jokic's greatness goes beyond numbers. Jokic literally averages same FG% like Shaq while taking waay more shots from mid-range than Shaq ever imagined, while taking millions of threes more than Shaq 😂😂😂 and while Shaq averaged 57-58% from the field in his prime, he shot 54% from free throw line. Jokic averages 83% feom the free throw line. And btw Shaq was the most dominant basketball player in his prime than if that is the case, what is Jokic right now???? Not only that offensively he is much more complete player than Shaq, BUT HE IS WAY BETTER PASSER THAN SHAQ and simply he is the best play maker for his team. Soo I'm sorry, but Jokic's prime is literally if you combine Shaq's dominance and Magic's playmaking. And that's easily greatest prime than every player who ever played this sport, even despite the fact that he is no elite defensively because neither was Magic, but still is top 5 player of all time. Neither was Curry who is still top 10 player of all time. And Jokic is way more consistent than them.

    The funny thing about all this is that these are the games Jokic hates the most. The most fun he has playing basketball is when he can let others cook and he doesn’t have to dominate every possession. The problem however is that Jokic in his career has rarely had the ability to do that. The closest he came was in 2020 when Jamal went nuclear and the Nuggets had great depth at every position. Noe they are so top heavy he has no choice but to have Wilt Chamberlain stat lines to get his team a win.

    Nuggets fans have known this for years but Jokic could average 35 a game easily if he had that as a goal. When he's making his 3's--which is most of the time with the exception of last postseason--he's essentially completely unguardable. He' can't be stopped on the low post where he bullies defenders and then uses that amazing footwork and bag of tricks. He's arguably the most lethal scorer in the paint ever with his jump hooks and floaters. He shot over 70% from the 'free throw line in' v the Heat in the finals. That's insane! He kills it from mid range and for stretches shoots 40% from 3. What are defenders supposed to do?

      Kinda get what you mean. Basically Jokic is not necessarily unselfish, he just always makes the best choice in each action. And when you get double-teamed each time in the post, that often is the pass. When Brooklyn puts Finney-Smith on him, the right decision is to bully him into the basket. When defenders go under screens, the right choice is the hand-off into a three for the guard. It's just seeing what happens in the game and acting accrdingly. The special thing about Jokic is that he can do anything, so whichever is the right play, he can do it. Post-up, mid-range, threes, high P'n"Rs, low picks, passing, bringing the ball up, playing really clutch defense with the game on the line.

    Murray's regression is the problem. Because he has so visibly regressed, it has bottlenecked Aaron Gordon and MPJ to do what they do best. It hurts but it may be time to see if we can move off him.

    • @shorewall
      @shorewall หลายเดือนก่อน +8

      That's it. When Murray was on firing on all cylinders, they won the chip. Their success was contingent on Murray being the Robin to Joker's Batman. What happened to his game is damning for the Nuggets. If they let him walk, they wouldn't get cap space. If they tried to trade him, he isn't playing well so they wouldn't get needed value back. They just need to pray that he can find the fountain of youth or something.
      Also, I think they need to try and fool some desperate team into trading two good role players for MPJ. MPJ is young, tall, and supposedly a good shooter, so it's easier for a team to talk themselves into him. I think trading him to Atlanta for Bogdanovic, who played with Joker on the Serbian Olympic team, and one other good role player, would be a winning trade.

    • @JakeStine
      @JakeStine หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      100% agree. MPJ gets scapegoated because of his mild manner, but actually MPJ is a great player with deceptive length who can create tons of mismatches on offense, shoots the lights out from both midrange and 3pt from anywhere on the floor (literally his hot zones for FG% are larger than almost any other NBA player), and can challenge good shooters with his McHale-like wingspan -- WHEN he's not sharing the floor with a chump like Murray who can't stop dribbling the air out of the ball and clogs up the midrange with his bad spacing and ends up playing matador defense against everyone except the Lakers.

      He regressed SO HARD last postseason that it's just tarnishing Joks legacy, it's that bad. He already killed 2 of Joks prime years by being injured, he then was downright terrible last playoffs, while averaging the most fga on Denver. Killed their entire hopes of going b2b, could have just been average and they were going back to the Finals against Boston - a team they haven't lost to since 2022. Brutal.

    I know people are complaining about how the Nuggets are letting down Joker, but I like this video's appreciation of what Jokic is doing. He, and we, cannot control his team circumstances, but we can still appreciate what he is giving us out there on the court. Joker isn't the GM, it's their job to build the team. All Joker can do is ball out. He has a chip, he has the MVPs, his legacy is strong.
    I want the Front Office to build a better team around him (although Murray regressing so much is the real problem). But it's also fine if Joker has to play on some bad teams. At least he has proven himself already.

So, when MPJ watches a 2-hour movie, he earns almost $7,000. As Braun said, "we give Jokic the ball and we know he will finish the job for us". Jokic earns everyone a salary, isn't it wonderful that such people still exist?!

      Nothing more than in his era. If Kareem played in this era, he could onpy dream of those MVPs when you jave Jokic 😂😂😂Jokic is literally better in every scoring aspect than Kareem. He is light years better 3 point shooter, he is miles better mid-range shooter, he is faar better free throw shooter and on top of that, the best aspect of his game is his passing. Passinf isn't even conparable to Kareem's. Kareem was only better defender than Jokic, but that's it, gab between both of them offensively is huge. Kareem would have probably 1 or 2 MVPs at most in this era. Jokic is waay waay more skilled.
