- Lady GaGa speaking at Yale for the "Emotional Revolution" Summit. I LOVED the entire conversation. Brilliant Beyond Words! It was so Powerful! This part, in particular, is one of my most favorite parts. I can definitely relate to it. I am SO Proud of GaGa! I really loved what She had to say. It was filled with such profound insight. The Summit felt, sort of, like an AMAZING Spiritual Workshop! I really wish people will HEAR Her and Wake Up!! ♥ I Love You Infinitely & With All of My Heart "Stefani, GaGa, Hybrid Person" ♥

+Travis-2313 wow, none of those things you listed are even important....it's what you chose to DO about it that matters. I could understand your argument if she chose to do nothing about her depression or anxiety...but just as they discussed, she is showing her vulnerabilities, and sharing ways for others who identify to live a wholesome existence, and perhaps help a few people along the way. Who wants a role model who is cookie cutter perfect...? That's just boring, and above all, it's fake. Because nobody is perfect, and if they claim to be, they're lying to your face. The people who own their imperfections, and take the proper steps to resolve them are the best role models out there....and Gaga is an amazing example of that~

This whole thing was amazing! I shed quite a few tears. I wish I could be friends with lady gaga in real life.
Gaga it's talking about two points I feel back in the days and I'm still feeling nowadays. The first: in the social media "we are unconsciously communicating lies"; I really miss a real conversation, with points of views, a really interaction that not be a photo on the facebook and this type of thing, an exchange of humanity and love. The second point is "say no" when you don't want to do something; When you say "no" it's the moment you realize who are the people that really cares for you, in this moment you are actually saying "hey, there's a person with opinion here, there's a human, I'm not a robot". To say "no" it's a power for life.
I think what really struck me, is how Stephanie created "Lady Gaga" in a way to hold some sense of agency over the creative character she wanted to embody as an artist. "Lady Gaga" is a part of Stephanie, but there is more to Stephanie than "Lady Gaga". Coincidentally, as she started to feel less comfortable with singing (commercial) and other aspects of her career, occurred as she lost control of the very "character" she had created.
This interference no longer allowed her to create a unique separation between her artistic character and the person (values, beliefs, passions) that transcends Gaga. This is probably an artist's worse nightmare. Art is supposed to be a manifestation of our emotions and selves. It must be horrible when someone else tries to take ownership over this, and inhibits the person from drawing a line between who she is and the image that is being created for her. I think she showed great courage and intelligence for coming to recognize this and acting on it.

She is just a great person. I feel like I could tell her anything and she would be so compassionate and kind; that she wouldn't look at you differently or like less of a person. I wish the media showed this side of her more often, not just eccentric and creative side, because she is so smart and ambitious.

This is incredibly inspiring! I definitely feel like there is a bigger movement going on right now. We're craving authenticity and real social connection in a world where so many of us have become unconscious, unconnected, and numb.

I have to say that I am so very proud to finally have a person of note to express to others what I have been fighting my entire life. I am a child of God, He made me and He does not make mistakes. I am a perfect creation in every way in His eyes and what other people think about me is their problem, not mine. Please share this eye opening heart to heart talk from Stephanie. I am utterly speechless how eloquently Lady Gaga aka Stefani spoke about such profound and important mental health/ emotional wellbeing issues on this summit. The more I see videos of her on youtube that are completely unrelated to her musical/acting career,the more I fall in love with this amazing human being that she is. Her words of wisdom and even just her speaking voice(soothing and calm) have made me think more about myself and about what is around me.There are two timelines in my life:before I watched a star is born:Where I was sad sometimes and feeling lonely and depressed and sometimes empty like my life had no meaning but I still focused all my attention on my beautiful daughter and my good friends especially a g8t friend who I can connect well with(Johanna). Life was a struggle and times were hard and stressful. Before I watched a star is born I heard Lady Gaga only through some of her songs. Then I watched a star is born and a light went off in my soul. I was so moved by her performance that I needed to watch more and hear more what she had to say about Life because in the end her songs are echos of her soul and her being. Then I saw fragments of music videos, concerts, interviews... etc...and now this. She has turned a light in my soul. I don't only love her songs and dance or cry to them but I am started believing more in me and looking at things through a different perspective. Her wisdom and her words have really made me a happier person and have definitely made a difference. Thank you Lady Gaga, Stefani for making such a difference to my world and to a lot of people's worlds. What an amazing human being you are! ❤️
Every day I suffer from depression and anxiety and helplessness and listening to lady gaga . Her music and her voice helps me . She is a true angel I love her and I love her music she is a beautiful artist and a beautiful person I wish more artist were like her

If I ever got to meet Gaga, I'd cry... She is so inspiring to me, I want to count myself as a HUGE fan... I feel the same as she does, we're both left handed, she's just so beautiful and real to me. I have made some really bad decisions in my life, and I just feel that if I could just spend one day with her, I could reassure myself every day that I'll be alright and that I'lll be fine for the rest of my life, Coz I got to meet the most amazing person in the world. I have NEVER been so intrigued by a celebrity before, but to me, she's just so much more than that. She's so awesome man, I just can't get over it... My biggest dream I want to come true is getting to meet her, I feel like anything is possible, and hopefully that's a possibility. I just wanna thank you My Lady, for comforting me with your music, being soooo attractive, and for inspiring me to continue and make big moves in my life. This work is amazing, I think about this all the time.Emotional intelligence and acknowedgeing children and their feelings... so many people/adults get lost because of the programming they received from their parents and or peers and it can change the whole course of their lives to being a prisoner to being an amazing, functioning and successful adult. It's pretty incredible. This is truly a movement and i am really stoked that someone like lady gaga is saying something so sincere and real to help society and spread consciousness. YAY! I'm so glad she found out this stuff while she was still young. She now knows that money doesn't buy you happiness, even though so many people ignorantly think it does. She has finally and very well found out that one has to search within themself to find happiness, and it starts by dealing with what's inside you...taking care of the problems that you had to go through and working them out. And then you start to find that true happiness that only comes with getting to know who you REALLY are! A beautiful person. So yea, everyone, listen up. Don't be fooled into chasing material gains, and then one day when you're too old to do anything about it you realize that you've been on the wrong path because you're not any more happy than when you started. Seriously.

Gaga 2016. She's the only truth speaking individual qualified enough to 'fix' this country. I am still that little monster but have grown along with her to say no to what I don't believe in. She is a queen and a force to be reckoned with, an activist, a human being who's genuinely concerned for our sanity.
