You are such an inspiration, my exciment for starting this project just keeps growing. Thanks for your reply to my last message, have decided to bite the bullet and buy a CO2 laser so I can cut acrylic and do a proper job. Knowing how organised you appear I am sure you have all of your episodes planned out but if not would there be any chance you could do one on how you went about ordering all the bought components, in particular the switched/buttons wires etc. Just tried to start to put together an ordering list and a lot of the product numbers from OH dont match or come up with anyhting. Maybe becuase I am in the UK, also struggling with some of the switches from OH being in imperial and not sure if there is a metric alternative. You PIT is looking amazing, you should be so proud of it, so nice to see the smile it puts on your face. Keep it up, such attention to detail is a real motivation.
@@andarno01 thank you so much for that comment! 🫡 I do have a plan for the episode, but I would love to help and include stuff like that into the future episodes Next episode is all about powering the pit, and USB hubs etc So with that I’ll show where I buy it all from The OH numbers for the screws etc are based off the website McMaster-Carr … unfortunately they only ship to the US unless you use a forward shipping service Thank you for being part of the AHN journey, any questions always feel free to ask 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Nicely done! I remember when I committed to painting my Dalek with a spray gun using automotive paint (the BBC used a very specific automotive paint color on their Daleks) as I knew it would make or break the entire 2 year long project. A brilliantly built robot with every electro mechanical system imaginable and a crappy paint job will only be remembered for it poor paint job but the reverse, an ave built robot with a brilliant paint job will be remembered as a brilliant robot. My new laser cutter arrives on Thursday and I can't wait to start test cutting panels to get a working workflow established
This is turning out really nice! You're a little ahead of my pit, so it's great to see what will be. Will you do a group flight with us when all is done? ✈️ 😊
Thank you!! TH-cam has gone and done him dirty and auto captioned his name to Lynn… I’ll need to change that back to Len Yeah he’s a very handsome doggo … 100% chance of stealing your girl 😂😂
love your videos. very informative and is exactly the info I've been needing. I'm starting my open hornet journey as we speak. only thing i decided to change with the open hornet cockpit is I've decided to use my winwing mip.
Nice work.👍.Just to let you know that you can purchase different sized rolls of plastic (some pre-masked) for masking that will hold paint... used in spray painting shops every day.
Hi man, I'm writing in regards to your first video. You said to try not to tilt the head in model viewer to get the screenshot of the panel, but in airplanes like the tomcat I have the display panel really angled upwards. Can you help me on how to tilt the view? I really can't figure it out
Hey mate! When I get home I’ll have a look I don’t know the key bindings… it’s very much a feel thing I’ll reply to your OG comment that way anyone who sees that video will see the answer 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Amizing. Your video s so wisdom.. I have a question... I wanted to test the possibility of connecting a moving platform to the game. Is it possible to program something so that when I move the joystick the platform will also move according to the direction of the joystick?
Hey I think it is possible! I have seen some gaming rigs do it I think it depends on the weight of your system as well If I can do it with mine I’d love to

Thank you 🫡 Oh nice! Yeah the last pre taped plastic roll I used flaked paint off something chronic with the air pressure
I might look at others 🤙🏻🤙🏻
@aHornetsNest You need to purchase from a specialist shop, will be stated in the specs.
@seattime4075 ahhhh copied 🫡🫡 i guess this means i now have to make a second cockpit to try it out 😂😂
