I have the blazer kit. Esc is set to crawl mode but the reverse lights are always on. When I go reverse they do get brighter sometimes but not always. Pressing the mode button does nothing to change it.
Awesome video. I wish you would do one for the RedCat Gen 8 International Scout 2 Kit. There is similarity but it runs the UF-7B controller which is more complex. Please consider doing this so next time I dont have to spend several hours messing about. Great Kit by the way.
Is there any plans for offering "warm" white LEDs for use with scale older trucks... I think the Bronco would look more scale with a yellower tint in the headlights

Ok. Have you tried pressing and holding the MODE button for 3 sec? This changes the function of output E, there are four choices, so you may need to repeat a few times to get the right one.
When you mentioned the “3rd channel on/off switching”... is that in reference with turning it on & off with the trx4 remote? Just curious because I have this installed on my Trx4 Bronco. I’ve only customized mine cosmetically so far (lights, wheels, tires, other accessories), but when the time comes to changing the ESC, servo’s, motor, etc... if it’s possible to turn the lights on from my remote I’ll look into it & possibly get the parts compatible to do so! :) Thanks & btw I enjoy the lights! They look good on the Bronco. To everyone asking if they’re waterproof... yes. I’ve ran mine thru mud, water, dust, & dirt... they still work to this day. If you submerge it in water for a good bit of time, expect a light or 2 to turn off... but if you let it dry out afterwards you’ll be happy to see all of them functioning again properly as nothing happened! I’d definitely recommend this light kit to anyone & when I purchase the Trx4 Blazer, I’ll be purchasing the MyTrick RC light kit for that model as well!
I have your kit installed on my Bronco Love these lights. The only problem I have is I'm unable to get the reverse lights to work. The selector button works to change the light modes normally but holding it down will not change the port E mode. The lights are on continuously like running lights. They used to function correctly not sure what happened the truck has been mostly a shelf queen
Hi Joe, Are you running a stock system, or has it been modified? If you have a brushed motor, you can toggle a switch on your transmitter, then swap the battery polarity.
Love your lights but how wish you were able to resolve the issues i had with the DG2 reverse light, but instead you opted to ignore my follow up emails...
The Dragon Controller's active port can be set to either Reverse or Brake Function. When your TRX4 is set to Crawler MODE (Forward-Reverse) that will match the Reverse Function on the Dragon and work properly. But if you want your TRX4 to be set to a MODE with Forward-Brake-Reverse, then reverse light will come on when you brake. You can change the Dragon's actve port to be Brake Light Function, but then you will need to give up having Reverse Lights. Instead you will have Brake Lights, but you will need to replace you r white Reverse LEDs with Tail/Brake LEDs. I hope that makes sense.
Thank you for getting into the reverse light issue with the mode switch, it was driving me nuts. One question , I want to add lights on the bumpers, what ports would I use on the control unit? And would you make such a set for the rear and front bumpers, it's for a set of Hot Racing bumpers, thanks! Great lighting system!
Hi Charles, glad you got a benefit from the new video. Do the bumpers fit 5mm LEDs? And, would you be ok if these LEDs powered off your receiver instead of your DG-1? Meaning, they would always be ON when the receiver is on. In this case, all wires would remain attached to the chassis, and not need to be connected to your DG-1.
@@MyTrickRC, That wouldn't bother me I would rather have it go through the Dragon unit. I'm looking at the bumper and they look like 3mm led's in them. It has 4 lights in the front bumper and 2 in the rear . Unfortunately my receiver is packed, I'm running the Castle BEC and that with the Dragon is a lot of wiring lol. @@charlesb3084 Just to be sure, you want 4pcs 3mm white in front and 2pcs 3mm red in rear? And you only have the Bronco Kit installed ( no other Attack LEDs Rock Lights, or Light Bars added)?
@@MyTrickRC,yup, not doing any other lights or winch . just adding the bumper lights, no rock lights ( I wanted to, but the reciver is really full with the light kit and BEC and the Savox servo. I'd rather do the bumper light as a nice touch to the truck.
My trick rc recently I've received 6 super bright 3mm dual leds and one 3mm super bright led and once i connected everything only 3 lights works and then i was installing 2 3mm dual led and now they don't work

@@rcrc6704 Our previous versions of UF-7 were not waterproof. Also if you want to improve water performance we recommend dielectric grease
