15:04 - you missed a key sin. We know it’s 1995 and judgment happens in 1997, yet in this scene the T800 explains “in three years Cyberdyne will become the largest supplier of military computer systems.” Which is impossible as there isn’t enough time before judgement day.
My working theory is that skynet force fed a resistance soldier the T-1000, and sent him back in time that way, where the T-1000 then bursted out of him and took the form of Robert Patrick. Also the floor works because T-1000 is essentially becoming a puddle that looks like the floor. He still can't become a pack of cigarettes since there's too much mass present
He can mix both. Becomming the floor with a pack of cigarettes on it. And we know he can separate his body and keep its shape.... it would a hell of a heavy pack though if someone touches it.
19:50 now if you watch the extended version they show that the liquid nitrogen screwed up the shape shifting & he starts uncontrollably melding with things which slows him down.
36:45 vs 37:08 Minor Continuity error sin many didn't know till just recently in the past 5ish years. T3, the plane in the hanger has ID of N3035C but the next scene showing the plane flying the ID is N3973F.
Okay, John fading away at the end of T2 because their victory means Kyle Reese never came back in time would’ve been an amazing shock ending. I can just imagine Sarah screaming while the Terminator watches sadly, knowing this was the inevitable end of his mission.
It's cool that in How It Should Have Ended, Doctor Brown used DeLorean time machine to go back to the past and stop kid John Connor and his mom Sarah from dropping Uncle Bob Terminator to the melting metal furnace. So that they will deal with another Terminator showing out of nowhere in Dark Fate sequel.
Repeat after me, friends- “The only Terminator movies that actually exist are The Terminator, and Terminator 2: Judgement Day. Everything else is just Sarah’s ptsd fueled nightmares.”
Terminator 2 is still one of the best films made in my opinion but the rest i can take or leave. As always I love your work! 1:10:15 the catalyst from mass effect.
One sin you missed around the 17:55-18:00 mark, is that the T-1000 only kills the people and imitates them or their clothing so how the hell does he have a radio on his person to hear the cyberdyne call?
@@tbessi12-DZI suppose you missed the part where after he bashed his head through the helicopter window, he melted into the seat from head to toe. If he took the motorcycle cops helmet, it would have fallen off of his head, but it didn’t, it turned into liquor just like the rest of his body, clearly meaning the helmet was a part of the Liquid Metal. Like when he melted through the bars at the mental institution, the gun was an inanimate object apart from his anatomy so it did not come with him, if he’d had the cops radio we would have seen it fall off of his body during the helicopter scene
@@RyccoLamar Originally, that outfit he was wearing he took it from a policeman who went to check the electricity in the biggining of the movie, and also the shoes.
Particle accelerator is a circle.. it likely leads to everything that is there and it uses powerful electromagnet to speed up and contain the neutron bullet they split atoms with..
So if wrapping inorganic materials in organic ones work & skynet can obviously make living skin then why not cover a supply crate with the skin & send it back? The skin only has to survive through the transport after all
I've skipped the first two and sinned you once for The Terminator and twice for Judgment Day. The 200 sins you've mistakenly given them will be divided between the rest.
Regarding the vanity plate, a lot of people seem to identify as their job. I've known a lot of EMTs with EMS tags; and quite a few with work related vanity plates. Until a couple of years ago, a lot of them were making between $7.50-9 an hour. I've never entertained the notion because, if I'm going to pay extra tax voluntarily, it's gonna be the lottery so I've got a chance of actually getting something out of it.
Re the special effects looking better than effects do today: I think it's because they accepted the limitations and worked _with them_ "I can give you cool CG effects, but they're gonna look like some kind of gloopy, unnatural substance with smooth surfaces shaped into simple geometric curves". "Okay, then let's make our villain into a gloopy, liquid-metal shape-changer, and when he's changing shape he'll have a smooth metallic surface shaped in these unearthly simple geometric curves…" They couldn't make a convincing CG version of Robert Patrick, so they didn't try to. Instead they had a creepy, malformed, unnatural and metallic CG model, and they just declared that that's exactly what the character looks like… that he actually _was_ creepy, malformed, unnatural and metallic
I'm glad someone other than myself noticed the plot issue with the T-1000 going through the time travel...ball. That's a plothole as obvious as the holes in the T-1000 when he gets shot. Technically, the T-1000 only took up part of the floor. That part was of equal size as him. That's only one theory of how time travel works. This isn't Back to the Future. And even Back to the Future is inconsistent in how time travel works. Terminator likely uses the reasoning that as long as they stay in the past, they won't be affected by the changes to the future. I think that the machines don't sent more dangerous machines to destroy the mankind of the past because if they did, the machines would never be made. Even if the ones in the past continued to exist, the race, and by extension, Skynet would never be made.
Terminator 2 is an almost perfect movie. The only flaw is in their decision to try and take out Skynet. They know that in the original timeline, humanity wins over skynet and it sends terminators back as a last-ditch effort. But, as Terminator 3 states, "Judgement Day is inevitable", and is backed up by Dark Fate. Skynet or a skynet-like entity will be invented sooner or later because tech advancements don't hinge on just one guy, and by delaying it the later-invented versions of Skynet will have access to better technology decreasing the likelihood of a human victory. It would have been better to leave the timeline and sure-victory as-is because anything else risks increasing the casualties and/or the chance of humanity loosing. At this point they now have to keep time-looping and delaying Skynet until humanity gets a passing grade on judgement day. Unrelated, I totally forgot about Salvation.
I know t3 isnt a great film, i still love it. Gotta give it props for actually going against the norm and having the nuclear fallout happen. Most movies would have had them save everyone
Couldn't Skynet just send a Terminator back to upload it's software to the web at the earliest point when it could function? Or even further back to pose as a scientist to pioneer technological advancement?
Since I started following this channel some years back, I now watch movies for the sole purpose for finding sins like this😂😂😂. While am not at top level spoting the sins , like cinema sins. It made me realize that some movie plots are just plain stupid. Thanks for opening my eyes bro😅😅

*MISSED SIN* Terminator 2, Johnson Conner throws the broken off piece of the T-1000 out of the window, thereby touching the T-1000, but isn't copied in the end scenes to trick Sarah or Arnie.

I completely agree with all the comments and praise for the first and second, as well as mostly agreeing with the poor following three films, but is it just me thinking that a spinoff B movie or meta style actcom tv series, or hell, even a small series of comic books depicting the T800s life during the time jump in Genisys and a multiverse series covering Dark Fates Carl and Sarah "working together" but living personal lives in the same universe? Not ever really communicating but working towards the same goal. The few seconds scene of the fridge gives intriguing looks into the T800 having a boat and building a Draperies company while living as a normal human, marrying a woman he never reveals his secrets to, and presumably step fathering a boy. Can you just imagine with me the kind of wacky hijinks that could have gone on? Lets say she accidental stabs him while they pass along dish washing and drying or at one point a drunk driver hits his vehicle and he has to convince everyone that he is perfectly fine and no hospital visits are ever needed. He doesn't get sick, need to eat or even use the bathroom so does his stomach have a food catcher that he can empty out for to keep up the normality of eating and drinking? Does he sink to the bottom of the lake or the pool while hes trying to teach the boy how to swim or if he has to save his wife if she falls in? Since the Genisys universe T800 doesn't take care of the things they all complete once Sarah and Kyle get to the future, do we possibly have a lazy procrastinating T800 personality where he spends most of his free time watching movies and tv shows? If so, do you see him as a romcom/sitcom type or a Dirty Harry, Salvestor Stallone, Tom Cruse action film and reality cooking/Maury tv show kind of cybernetic android? Has he ever gotten his drivers license in the off chance hes stopped at a holiday dui check point or didn't realize his tail light was out? I'd like to see him talk his way out of situations a "normal" human would face. Maybe some added personal growth can be envisioned, like he writes a "fiction" novel using key knowledge of the future and hes seen as a visionary of creative ideas. There could even be a casual nod to Arnolds real world movie career where he does minor movie roles and his own stunt work knowing he cant get injured while also having military training/programming that helps him look and play the part. @ the impressive use of CGI considering it was in its infancy at that stage
