24:55 the song that plays here is Fantastic Tune sung by Kensho Ono aka KUROKOS VOICE ACTOR 😊 Every voice actor in this anime is top tier and veterans in their field. So excited for season 3!
22:51 There are 3 reasons why he did this with left hand. To first is that kagami's right leg is stronger wchich was mensioned few times before. The second is to use opposite leg and hand so he can mame even stronger arm swing. Thrid reason is that before winter cup he spent huge amount of time to practise with left hand so that he could utilize his right leg and make 100% jumps.
Too many anime fans that don’t watch sports think so much of this show is non realistic & too exaggerated. Y’all need to watch nba highlights on NBA yt channel & see for yourselves the amazing things these athletes do
Aside from @Flowerbeast's comment about the manga accuracy, there are also these tiny little author notes that obviously get omitted like the fact Coach Riko and Kiyoshi used to date or trivia like other club's that that characters are apart of or their family life- aside from Kiyoshi living with his grandparents, Kuroko's grandma also loves with him and his parents. Most of the GOM have siblings like Kise is the youngest of four and has three older sisters, practically everyone on Shutoku's team is an older brother including Midorima himself.
1. Lane-Up is when you jump from the free throw line. 2. It's called Meteor Jam. The "falling star dunk" is just how they would describe Meteor Jam... 33:24 caught me off-guard tho ngl...😂
2 points of detail! earlier in the match when murasakibara blocked kagami's dunk, kagami shifted the ball in the air before that and we were told he was trying to do something but failed. this turned out at the end to be the meteor jam. this was what alex was teaching kagami prior to this match when she requested to steal him away from the team for a bit. kuroko is very perceptive because he studies people for his misdirection, or possibly the other way around. there was a flashback to his middle school days where he caught aomine lying just from his body language - they explained that kuroko started learning how to read people after he picked up this misdirection-based style of his.
When it comes to the games, yes the show is identical to the manga. But when it comes to the story itself, the show has omitted many important scenes especially in Teiko arc
Kuroko blocking the last shot is magic or out of nowhere. You can see at the end, when Kagami miss is 3pt shot, that Murasakibara didn't jump because he was exhausted, and because Kuroko is very perceptive he was it and new that Murasakibara was already at his limits. And because he never give up, he probably was already coming back before his teammate, and "hope" that Mura will hit his limits at this right moment.
I think you put the wrong name. The section 'Kagami Crying' should be 'Murasakibara Crying'. Minor details, doesn't really matter much though. Been loving your reactions since begining of Haikyuu! keep it up!
😮 Tsukki is like Murubasaki?? Its strange you've said that. This character is my favourite in this show (but i dont consider myself similar to him in any way) while Tsukki is my least favourite in Haikyu (even if hes the player that reminds me most of myself). It's curious that you think they are similar 🤔
Okay, so when I was like in middle school Murasakibara was my favorite, so I can't let this disrespect slide lol When his knees gave in, coach said "That's what happens when you don't work hard", but in previous episodes we're shown that Mura Does work hard! Himuro even comments on it, saying "Atsushi, you're so strange, you said you don't like basketball, but you never slack" (more or less I can't quote from memory lol) during Yosen's practice. So yeah! Mura doesn't like working hard, but he does nonetheless!
We probably have "real life in-game Meteor Jams". Michael Jordan is the most obvious contender and might have done it before, since we still get surprised about his legendary level of playing decades later, we just didn't see it on TV or don't remember.
27:00 Ok, so basically if you go back to the first episode of season 2 "I never thought we'd meet here" Kagami and Himuro kept playing against each other, winning and losing against each other until their record was 49-49, after their record was tied 49-49 Himuro told Kagami that if Kagami were to beat him in the next match he would be unable to call himself Kagami's older brother, as he is 1 year older than Kagami, in the deciding match Kagami notices Himuro isn't moving like he usually does and realises Himuro is injured after seeing his elbow on a drive, Kagami, having a chance to win the game, purposefully misses a wide open layup. After the game Himuro gets mad at Kagami and they have a fight, stating that game they just played they would call a tie, keeping their records equal and that the next game Himuro would bet his ring, stating that if Kagami loses the next game they would pretend the ring never existed. Basically what Himuro did is make it impossible for Kagami to stay his brother as if he were to beat Himuro, Himuro would be unable to call himself his brother out of pride, and if Kagami were to lose, they would pretend the ring never existed, so it's a lose-lose situation for Kagami who wanted things to stay the same.
Kuroko was definitely the man of the match between being the only guy who scored on Yosen after most of the first quarter and blocking the final shot (Not to count his normal play making input)
Thanks for the content coach. To remind you of the bet, it's a bit of a sham but basically, Himuro got pissed that Kagami took it easy on him when he was injured and so they revised the bet. If Himuro wins, they will pretend their relationship as brothers never existed and go back to being strangers. This is due to his anger about Kagami taking it easy on him. If Kagami wins, they will no longer be brothers. This has to do with Himuro's pride as he feels like he cannot call himself Kagami's older brother when being a worse player than he is. Of course that's complete nonsense, but it's the pride and emotional turmoil of being competitors and of being teenagers. Looking forward to seeing you watch the upcoming games.
Wow discovered your Kuroko react series by accident yesterday and was dissapointed when I ran out of videos, only for you to post the last episodes a few hours later. Nice timing coach :)
the anime basically follows the manga exactly, no extra filler and nothing is removed. even the matches that are not about Seirin get so intense later on
Unfortunately I don't have a lot of spare time during my week to do these reactions, it's why I've only watched a third of the Haikyuu compilation movie so far. And since I'm also watching Jujutsu Kaisen, it gives me even less time. On the bright side, I've started season 3 this week!!
IT'S BEEN SO LONG. YOU LEFT US ON THE HYPEST EPISODE lol
This was probably my longest Kuroko reaction video to date
the fact that Kuroko the shortest player blocked Murasakibara the tallest player is what makes this episode even more epic for me.
Can't call Kuroko unathletic. He needed a solid 60cm of air for that block.
24:55 the song that plays here is Fantastic Tune sung by Kensho Ono aka KUROKOS VOICE ACTOR 😊

So excited for season 3!
no wonder the energy was so intense in this episode

Man I’ve been waiting for this so long! Can’t wait for season 3!!
It’s gonna be even better
Just started season 3 this week!!!

Kuroko was supposed to be Akashi's brother. Of course he has "the eyes"
When it comes to the games, yes the show is identical to the manga. But when it comes to the story itself, the show has omitted many important scenes especially in Teiko arc
22:37 A "lane up" means he jumped from the free throw line, so kagami reaaaally jumped high to do that meteor jam
Blake Griffin actually executed the Meteor Jam thrice, on Timofey Mozgov, Kendrick Perkins, and Kris Humphries
I'm hoping Wemby adds this shot. You couldnt block it cause it would be goal tending, and from his height it wouldn't be impossible.
One of the most best episodes in the show, can’t wait for the next season!
OH YEAAA
All other episodes to come are pure amazing episodes, I love the 3rd season and can’t wait for you to watch it
Omg season 3 is gonna be a blast, cant wait to see your reaction coach!!
I'm loving it from the beginning already!

Kuroko probably saw his limit coming soon too

haha cool!

Ahhh thanks for sharing that detail with me. So he's not at lazy as I thought haha
Yeah, he's not lazy to training. But lazy to play, that's why he never came to this moment.and dont know how to solve it.

It's my favorite one so far!!!
The Emperor is coming
There's still Kise, though

Bro Kagami is the Akuma of this anime lol
27:19 - actually, no matter who won they wouldn't be brothers anymore. it was a lose-lose situation for kagami.
I know... poor Kagami
