I've been a Rise Against fan since I was 10. I decided after talking with Zach after a show in April to become a vegetarian. I don't eat eggs or dairy except for cheese on pizza. If I find a good source to purchase vegan cheese or whatever the correct term is I'd do so and make homemade pizzas. So far it's been the best choice I've made my entire life. Funny thing was I never talked to Tim or Zach about vegetarianism in the handful of times I've spoken with them but it's because of them that animal rights and other social issues were brought to my attention. Any big RA fan imagines how awesome Tim is and all the others but when you meet them they are calm everyday people. yet they are still even more incredible individuals then you imagine. But they are great because of who they are and what they stand for and they aren't afraid to speak up and support animals or voice their opinion on anything unjust going on in the world. I'm ashamed I ever went to Seaworld or a circus as little kid. Despite that going later I refused to see any animal acts because I felt something was wrong about it before any media attention was brought to it. Tim had a quote in the Ready to Fall music video "We have one planet one chance." I think that is the best way of putting it in terms of us having to take care of ourselves and the other creatures and things that inhabit our planet. So you have my support my girlfriends and a handful of other RA fans that I'll share this video with. If we cant stop Ringling Bros and Seaworld weas a community can at least hurt their ticket and admission sales with our boycott.
Consider My Reasons
Lately I've been researching on animal cruelty and I think I want to go vegetarian because I don't want to be involved in the way animals are harmed and abused. I never really appreciated peta in the past, but now I'm realizing the great purpose you guys have. Thanks for being such a strong force in the world with such a strong message.

love tim so much btw. Peta do you think if someone raised their own animals on a farm with a good lifestyle, do you think they are being cruel in the end or no?
No matter how well the animals are treated, their fate is still the same. They all end up dead and on someone's plate. There's no humane way to kill an animal. The only humane way is vegan.
