I know a few dudes in Nashville who play Drums for some big Country Artists and 90% of them are Metal Heads who just happen to play Country.
Same with Country Guitar Players, heaps of them play Pantera just as well as they do a County tune.

@@TheDeadStretch cause when learning a Instrument Metal and Rock are the coolest thing.
It teaches you chops and being tight and teenage musicians are drawn to that.
If James Hetfield had a dollar for every kid he inspired to pick up a guitar.......
