Great job! I thought there were some steps missing before 12:47 in the video. The values of r1~r6 are all the same 685cm in facade design.rfa. But, they change to ratio at 12:47 in the video. I was confused ! Would you please explain to me , thanks !
Thanks ! To turn off the dots select the divided surface (tab through a few times ) and in the surface dropdown turn off the nodes and UV grids and intersect lines.
A model on four adaptive points is good enough for curved surfaces but for a perfect semicircular surface five points would be better. Just place five points in the beginning and keep the rest same. Though Revit breaks a circular surface into two two semi circles yet if you decide to make a full circle by using arcs then I think you should place may be 8 or 9 points at least .That is my opinion. You can try it out yourself and see how much accuracy you want.
on the properties panel there is Adaptive Component menu --click at the double arrows if it is closed .hold the component and check inside the box in front of 'FLIP' button.

You can also download the free app for the files .The link is in the description box of most videos.
Thank you! It’s amazing🤩
How do I flip it if I have a curved form? Tried to change de parameters of the grid but it does not work
Great job!

You are welcome ! Thanks for watching !
Thank you so much.
You are welcome !
Amazing tutorial !
Thanks !
Great job
What about the dots in the lines how to remove them after finishing?

❤❤
How can i join them in the corners
How do i flip component 90 degrees not 180
I love your tutorial
Can this work on a circular plane?

Also you can download the app .All the files can be downloaded for free.

when i did it it doesnt make the family for me
When I load the family to mass…it’s not showing like u
In the first family uncheck the box 'is reference line' and reload
How do I flip the component ?

hi can you insert the family donw below?
I added it in the description box .You can download it now.
@@catchupwithrevit1372 sorry it only lets me downloads the video?
@@tasmimislam2585 I made a mistake I guess. Added again .Please try now .

Hi ! Thank You for watching my videos! For the files - Please download this app ! It's free ! play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=swift.swift
I got it !
The project units in " facade design.rfa " is " mm ".
The project units in " facade design mass.rfa " is " m ".
😆
I should have tried to maintain the same units in both the files !!
Great job!

the units in the second file are meters and the units in the first family are mm. 685 mm is same as 0.685 m.
the values for all a's and all b's are ratios as they are normalized curve parameter values . so they are all less than 1.

How do i flip component 90 degrees not 180
hold the divided surface and write in front of the 'All grid rotation' 90 degrees or any angle you want.
