if you want to move the points vertically you have to set the 'horizontal' plane at the point . Probably you by mistake set the vertical plane so the point is moving sideways.

please check your family types dialogue box where you have written the equations . May be you have made an error in the equations or maybe your reporting parameter is not placed properly.

on the properties panel there is Adaptive Component menu --click at the double arrows if it is closed .hold the component and check inside the box in front of 'FLIP' button.

Though I don't exactly understand what you are trying to get at but for now try using 89.999 instead of 90 degrees. If it doesn't solve your problem then maybe you could explain it more in detail or send me your file that way I can try to help as much as I can.

There's one more thing that can create a problem with rotation. The lowest plan of the building should be above the ground level even if it's few millimetres.Check this in your model.

I have uploaded a video on the 24 November 2022 a form by Zaha Hadid . i think that should help you create what you are looking for though in a different manner. yes you can also place a point on the vertical plane and give it an offset in the horizontal direction.

I should have tried to maintain the same units in both the files !!

hide it from visability graphics then go to the massing and site tab and check it is (show mass by view settings) thats all i know
