I really think that the theme is great but there are elements I feel are missing. Maybe expanding into more of a survival style like 7 days to die where you can loot and make a base. Those types of elements will make the game last longer and keep people playing. I think that if you were going for an interactive story...you should get inspiration from Detroit Become Human. That type of story system is amazing for multiple endings and different choices people can make to get different results. I feel like having a game open ended though with survival elements allows players to immerse into the environment to fully experience life during invasion.

I watched Signs when I was a kid, and it scared the living heck out of me and yet now it's one of my favorite movies ever but man the noise of the alien talking brought back so many emotions and I got chills when I heard it.

I think what resonates with us so much about games like this is a certain nostalgia of 80's/90's movies that had similar atmospheres. You're in a small town, you have a small group of characters all trying to figure out and make it through whatever is going on.
Can't wait to be full of adrenaline, dizziness. and horror for the next hour and a half. I need to find out more about the lore!!! I also love the references to Signs, like the music and the baseball player.
Great walkthrough. The best one to watch, honestly. I love how immersed and hilarious you can be at same time, bro. The game ended like it's only an episode 1, not a full game. But I enjoyed it.
The thing i find most odd in this game is the lack of shotguns and hunting rifles plus low amount of ammo, and i say that because it's a small town farming community and i actually live in one. Stayed at a friend of the family for the night some years back and they had a firearm in every room, and the room i slept in had a Remington 870 hardwood defense 12GA pump action shotgun next to the bed i slept in.

To be honest, it seems that the characters don't even care about what is happening. Let's take Rachel, for example. Her father was abducted, and it seems that she didn't care. She didn't cry. Have you tried the dark pictures anthology games? There's a few of them now, creepy, good jump scares, and you can choose how your character reacts, and that can change the story and the outcomes. Great fun. Highly recommend those.
I can speak from experience, I live out in the countryside and at night when its really quiet every sound, car and house doors footsteps al of it is magnified 10x.
My worst fears are spiders, ticks, and aliens, in that order. Have been my whole life, and I developed the awful fear of aliens in childhood when I watched Tommyknockers for the first and only time lol. Then as I got older I only made it worse by reading the book, along with Dreamcatcher and Langoliers, then years back my sister tricked me into watching The Fourth Kind and I nearly shit myself during and cried for an hour afterwards 😂 she said it was only a paranormal thing, ghosts and shit. Id not be doing no patrols outside, the first time I heard that creepy ass noise id shit my pants and fall back in it. Id be barricaded inside whichever room didn't have windows with every thing I could use for a weapon I could find in my house! 😭

Perfect timing! It just got dark in my little corner of the Pacific Northwest. We have a thunderstorm rolling in this late afternoon after several days of summer-like temperatures. The house is dark, candles lit and the wind she is a blowing! The Cats and i are snuggled down and ready to face alien horrors at your side, Fooster (behind you clutching your arm in my case-aliens are one of my nightmares). Here comes the first thunder so lets get at this! ⛈️👽 🩵☘️🥀
One thing that was bugging me was the subtitles had a lot of typos (bold cutters, instead of bolt cutters, for instance) and just general a lot of the time the subtitles not matching the spoken dialogue. Almost like a non-native english speaker was writing them as he heard someone speak them, instead of reading the same script. That and the audio overlaps, like shouting at one person while having a normal volume conversation on the radio. All in all, an interesting concept. Doesn't quite look like my sort of game, but I enjoyed watching Fooster play it.

Grey alien games are so few for 2 reasons. First reason is that its hard to make a good scary abduction game, its easier to make a quick monster/ghost/cryptid game with cheap BS jumpscares. Second reason is because its too scary for people to handle since they were traumatized after X-files.
Just got back from a trip to Roswell yesterday with my sister it was very cool they have the dopest McDonalds ever if you've never been and like this stuff 100% recommend.
I had trouble seeing the aliens that Fooster was seeing. I hope fooster does some kind of zoom, or one of those iconic red-circles in those aliens documentaries.

The dialogue at the beginning sounds so much more natural. So much better now, at least at the beginning anyway...

Have you tried the dark pictures anthology games? There's a few of them now, creepy, good jump scares, and you can choose how your character reacts, and that can change the story and the outcomes. Great fun. Highly recommend those.
Him and Fisk played one not too terribly long ago. The one with the "werewolves." It was very entertaining.

I can speak from experience, I live out in the countryside and at night when its really quiet every sound, car and house doors footsteps al of it is magnified 10x.

My worst fears are spiders, ticks, and aliens, in that order. Have been my whole life, and I developed the awful fear of aliens in childhood when I watched Tommyknockers for the first and only time lol. Then as I got older I only made it worse by reading the book, along with Dreamcatcher and Langoliers, then years back my sister tricked me into watching The Fourth Kind and I nearly shit myself during and cried for an hour afterwards 😂 she said it was only a paranormal thing, ghosts and shit. Id not be doing no patrols outside, the first time I heard that creepy ass noise id shit my pants and fall back in it. Id be barricaded inside whichever room didn't have windows with every thing I could use for a weapon I could find in my house! 😭

Perfect timing! It just got dark in my little corner of the Pacific Northwest. We have a thunderstorm rolling in this late afternoon after several days of summer-like temperatures. The house is dark, candles lit and the wind she is a blowing! The Cats and i are snuggled down and ready to face alien horrors at your side, Fooster (behind you clutching your arm in my case-aliens are one of my nightmares). Here comes the first thunder so lets get at this! ⛈️👽

Signs is my favourite horror movie and when i heard the aliens clicks, i shivered. The nostalgia is real

One thing that was bugging me was the subtitles had a lot of typos (bold cutters, instead of bolt cutters, for instance) and just general a lot of the time the subtitles not matching the spoken dialogue. Almost like a non-native english speaker was writing them as he heard someone speak them, instead of reading the same script. That and the audio overlaps, like shouting at one person while having a normal volume conversation on the radio.
All in all, an interesting concept. Doesn't quite look like my sort of game, but I enjoyed watching Fooster play it.
Best parts are… „Don’t trust the Cops and the Goverment“ and „ The Goverment are hiding something“ absolutely nailed it ! Great Game !

Grey alien games are so few for 2 reasons. First reason is that its hard to make a good scary abduction game, its easier to make a quick monster/ghost/cryptid game with cheap BS jumpscares. Second reason is because its too scary for people to handle since they were traumatized after X-files.

Just got back from a trip to Roswell yesterday with my sister it was very cool they have the dopest McDonalds ever if you've never been and like this stuff 100% recommend.
I had trouble seeing the aliens that Fooster was seeing. I hope fooster does some kind of zoom, or one of those iconic red-circles in those aliens documentaries.
