this song played at the end of epiosde 8, made an emotional moment feel even more tragic as you see Sky and Vander's memories disapear and Viktor start the evolution. knowing tyler (singer) wrote the song about his recent experience of watching his grandmother pass away makes sense of why this song always makes me feel like crying.

In the end, Tyler didn't cross the line; he came back down and didn't join them. Good thing. We need to keep him here.

I've never seen the show or played the game, but I am a fan of Twenty One Pilots. Tyler's brilliant lyrics, music, and vocals hit me hard. It makes me want to check out the show.

Actually, Viktor is getting a visual rework really really soon and will stop looking like a robotic guy (sadly, I'll miss him) and will looks more like his Arcane self...

I know they are trying to slightly have him match how Victor and such appeared in this ethereal realm with the white hair, but I keep laughing to myself (between the tears) "oh no, he is achieving his final form. Eminem!"
Jokes aside, Arcane is my most rewatched show, period. It's my sad comfort show. I find it weird that the music is a bit young/pop for my taste and yet I love all of it. I think this particular track though goes above and beyond, and I only learned about Twenty One Pilots from this track.
A bit frustrating is I struggle getting friends to like this show explicitly because of Imagine Dragons, like they can't get passed the bloody theme song. One even thinks that all of the music is some sort of product placement even though the creators write a majority of the music for the show and hire people to re-sing the lyrics. They actually struggled early on getting artists involved because the timeline of animation is several years and they wanted to be able to apply tracks to albums within the year.
At one point I made an example where I said "Game of Thrones, Iconic theme-song right? Listen to the actual score in the show, its lazy, dated, synth orchestral keys for 90% of the show. Once you notice, it becomes downright annoying."
They are kind of right about things being product placement because at the end of the day its a show for an IP... like everything. But if people are just going to hate everything that is a product, good luck enjoying life in a developed country.
