Thank you, my friend. Sure, hoping the conditions improve around here. I’m so happy that I was able to find some older videos. I had never edited. At least there are some decent treasures from back in March April. So far May was an almost total bus due to the fact of all the work, etc. I literally have only been out for about a half an hour in June. 🏴☠️😊❤️👍
Good day Mike you didn’t get the gold this day, but you did get silver woohoo 🥳🎊🎉💥 All in all the day was great for the sunshine! Have a blessed and beautiful week ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
Thank you for all your support Susan. Any day on the beach is definitely a great day. Haven’t been able to get out much lately, but hoping to maybe go out today for a little bit. Have a great weekend.🏴☠️😊👍👍❤️❤️
let's go let's go treasure and adventure ... hey starting friday I am driving up the coast .... will I see you on a beach? hahahhahah I wll be looking✌👵
Hey there, GMK, would love to see you on the beach. Hoping I can get out. I have been crazy busy lately and have not been hunting for well over a week.🏴☠️😊❤️👍
Sad to say, it is about 90% gone. At least when they’re Mercys or barbers, I cannot get excited even if they’re that worn. When they’re mercury it’s still nice that they’re silver but not as cool.🏴☠️😊❤️👍
Another great video to pull out of the archives! That tall cut was impressive. Noticed Brads Frogg Toggs jacket he was wearing, I bought a set of tops and bottoms of those several years ago and they worked great in the rain and were nice and light weight. Looking forward to the next one!
That is totally wild. I had no idea. Thank you so much for the information. I love it when others know what things are. Makes me really happy.🏴☠️😊👍👍❤️
It's only because I've been detecting for 50 yrs and I've seen pretty much everything. Don't do the beach hunting much, my interests are civil war and colonial relics. Keep posting your fantastic videos, love watching yall out west...
Not being able to get out sucks, I know the itch. Haven't been out in a month now myself, then threw me back out two weeks ago.... still feeling it, but summer ain't even started yet so.....let the beaches seed 👍
Hey there, Ron, I sure hope you’re back gets better soon. Definitely dying to get out. Jim and the boys went out on Friday and I was so slammed with work and dog watching I couldn’t get out.
Pirate Mike bro, I rarely hunt in all metal mode at the beach I was therefore wondering how often you dig negative VDI,s that end up gold or silver? Thanks in advance. 😎👍🏼 BTW I use a Nox 800.
Hi there, Craig, Jim turned me onto always hunting in all metal at the beach. A lot of times low negatives all the way up to -18 or 19 often turn out to be non-iron targets there are quite a few times they have actually turned out to be gold and silver.🏴☠️😊❤️👍 I can often times tell if it is iron when it’s larger as it will actually give a high tone on the 900
Hi Mike- I live near Chicago so I’m not familiar with ocean currents and the beach. Does the cut go away on its own during high tide or do they have to use equipment to knock them down? I’m just curious.
Hi there, my friend, the cuts form when there’s a consistent amount of waves that hit a certain portion of the beach. That means the cut can range in distance from the high tide and actual height, depending on how long the storm and waves last and how big they are. Last year there was an area near us that actually had 15 foot cuts. That means everything below that 15 feet is revealed. Gold and silver everywhere. More often than not the cuts tend to be around 3 to 6 feet. Often times they are in the same areas repeatedly, and therefore don’t hold as much in the way of old targets. They do eventually get worn down from people walking on them and knocking them down or from sand flow on new storms and new waves that fill the sand back in. In our area, the sand tends to move drastically during certain times of year. Right now we have had very little storm and swell activity. Therefore, our beaches are not moving very much. The unfortunate things this time of year we usually have what’s called a fill cycle. That means that we have more sand coming in then going out. It’s kind of wild to see how far the sand moves. I have been on coves where there was literally no sand at all and a week later, it was completely replenished. All naturally. There are also areas near me that they do do sand replenishment projects with trucks, barges, dredges etc. Are used to work in Chicago a couple times a year every year. Great city. Also went out to Alpine Valley, Wisconsin once. Always wondered how those areas would be to metal detect. I’ll bet the great lakes have all sorts of great beaches. Sure hope you’re getting some good stuff out there.🏴☠️😊❤️👍
😂😂 "huh, huh, psych!"
This are some raging waves.
Love the views.
great hunt Mike thanks for sharing. love the old stuff

Yes it’s a Rosie. Kevin I often screw up the names of the president. Definitely definitely not my strong suit. Ha ha. I love comedy. 🏴☠️😊❤️👍
