Nice! If you’re ever in Fort Lauderdale Florida near Lauderdale By The Sea I lost a 1943 steel penny right out side of the restaurant called Arubas. It’s right next to the beach maybe 40 yards from the restaurant to the north

Cool finds on the older coins! The older coins are just more satisfying, or at least that's how I always felt while I was still dirt digging.

Congrats Mike on the hot spot for old stuff. I found a 100' stretch of random beach that's eroded-out 4 silver dimes (incl a mercury), multiple wheaties and small 1930's-50's artifacts over the course of a year. I'm still searching for my 1st silver quarter, like the one you found. 😀

Hi Mike, Mitch here in Arlington Washington. I realized I clicked on an older video but it was the one I was watching. I wanted to ask you what you think is the best metal detector on the market for 2024 2025 I have looked at the CTX the deus the manticore and more. So the beaches that are close here are very rocky and not worth trying to in my opinion because there’s just nobody on them and then I have lots of freshwater rivers that I like to detect in and look for lures and fishing weights, etc., but I value your opinion and I’m a huge fan. I watch all your shows. I was gonna ask what your model was but it says right here but I’m sure you have more than one I think and I was looking up the Tony Eisenhower Waterproof headphones because I like to be submerged and snorkel when I metal detect in Kauai. Hey Mike good find on the silver half dollar. I was doing a grading job for a shop foundation and scraped up what appears to be an old post hole cache. Got a few gold coins along with some silver dollars and some seated silver halves. Once in a while working in the right areas you get lucky. I turned them into the owner and he said take half which I wasn’t expecting.

some one was telling me my broken necklace i found ,is low carat gold. ,he owns a pawn shop. the other guy is a lapidary ,(cuts gem stones). ,gotta have it tested. low carat gold can tarnish and oxidize. didnt know that. found it with the mighty 900.
