@@eruza_7716 if he does i hope the twitch chat does not make him choose characters of different teams, he should choose the characters of the protagonists of those arcs like kyo team, k' team, ash team and the new Chinese team.
I live in Mexico and man, I have this game's UI, sound effects, announcer, boss, etc engraved into the back of my mind. I remember one of my grandmother's neighbors had an small, mostly improvised, arcade and EVERYONE was always playing this KOF (Or snowbrothers, w/e). You could hear the announcer a mile away. I also remember everyone raging on Igniz and just leaving the machine once he puts 0-1 on the scoreboard.
2001 is interesting to me mainly because of the striker system and how you can just go with a single character with all strikers. Your meter gain is INSANE with only one character, and the combo potential is equally insane. It's the epitome of high risk high reward.
honestly it was such a good system i wish they used it more it opened up a lot of options and made you think more about should i try use just one member of my team and all strikers or mix it up with any number of team members and strikers it was mad fun

17:35 Funnily enough, that dude, Ron, was to have more relevance to the story alongside Max' "favorite" character Kensou, as he was interested in his burgeoning Dragon power, but that plot line has been on hold for more than a decade. All to make way for the current arc's protags, chuunibyou: the character and a sleepy boi.
Igniz DOES use his SDM on level 1 though. Could be based on how he used the team, or maybe he lucked out. The juggles... With damage like that, it's not like it really needs it
17:35 is Ron. Since SNK wants to work with NRS in a MK Crossover, him or Lin are who I think they should use as the representative. Both ninjas and deadly. So here's a fun fact: Zero and Igniz do NOT have infinite meter. They have the 1 fighter/3 strikers super gauge. However, just like Krizalid and Clone Zero before them, their specials recharge their super gauge very fast and given that 1F/3S has a tiny meter and 4 stocks max, they'll pretty much max out their meter from any special making it look like they have infinite meter. And because I'm feeling generous here's another fun fact: The PS2 version of 2001 has a different set of art made for it. Some of the characters that didn't have good art were done justice. Unfortunately, that goes rather vice versa for other characters. Still, it's worth checking it out, Zero and Igniz definitely get an upgrade in this new art.
@@DarkflareEX I think you're right but it's hard to tell cause they don't always attack enough. It's their whip and capes that give them a fuckload of meter and they don't always use it. I don't think zero has infinite meter like Igniz but he does have infinite Strikers as special moves
I have the PS2 version of this game and it's awesome. They added 3D backgrounds and updated all character artwork. The bosses are also playable after going thru survival mode.

Lucky for him, otherwise Igniz could have one shoted Max basically every time he feels like it... also juddling to death when Igniz felt like it, which fits to the "god analogy", but geez, SNK didnt do itself a favor with such pattern.
This may be the black sheep of Kof because of many reasons, but i still kinda like it. Had fun playing and seeing my oldest brother play this game on max level and beating it with every team. One of the cheapest bosses in SNK Zero, and Igniz if you don't put it in goo goo ga ga baby lvl like how Chat tells Max to play in. Still a shame tho, in which we can't tell our man, Max to play on normal to atleast have a challenge and having fun. Also to atleast let him figure out to do shit in the game. The music aint the best, but my favorites are K' team, Athena's, The Women's, and the bosses. Also Shingo and Kensou are completely different characters. One is Japanese and a kickass fanboy like Sakura from Street Fighter. The other is Chinese and likes his waifu Athena and is in a band i believe.
