I haven't even finished watching this video and I had to comment. I learned so much in the first 8 minutes alone! You are an amazing teacher and artist. Thank you for creating such incredible content.

@@ElizabethStHilaire I am seriously considering your class in Tucson in April 2023. Love a reason to go out West. :-)

@@collinscott5201 Would love to have you! I'm actually in Sedona, about four hours from Tucson. Have you ever been? it's the BEST of the West!

@@ElizabethStHilaire I meant Sedona. 🙄 Yes, I love being out in the Southwest. Great memory of driving across the desert from Arizona to New Mexico during a New Moon and stopping to lie on the hood of our car to observe the Milky Way galaxy and all those stars in the deep dark night of the desert in October. It was awesome. Been back several times since. Scottsdale, Sedona, Tucson, Albuquerque, Taos, love it all.

How clever! Using your geli print coloured papers to collage your Flamingo! I’ve never seen this technique before, and am in awe! Thanks to You Tube for recommending your channel for Geli Printing, which I recently purchased. Gilly.

Absolutely love your art style. Been binge watching your videos, since I’ve found you. You are a wonderful teacher. Given me lots of food for thought. I might just get over my “I can’t paint anything worth while” attitude.

Hello Fiona! Thanks for your kind words. I am glad you are binge watching... welcome! GET OVER IT! you CAN paint anything worth while. Here's the thing about art, it's about the PROCESS not always the PRODUCT. Do you enjoy it? Does it help you relax? that's good stuff in and of itself. ;)

This video is a master lesson in careful observation and color choice. So useful! Do you have a video where you discuss how you found paper painting was your medium? I hope 2021 brings you productivity, inspiration, success and satisfaction.

Hi Carla, thank you! It’s so important really to truly be observant with your eyes snd not let your brain jump to what it thinks you already know. I do not have a video on my journey but I do discuss in my in-person workshops! Thank you for being here!
