There is a micarta s35vn version! I just ordered the one you have. Can't beat the deal you get.. for$119. Kizer is really giving us a lot of cool options! I got the 10v sheepdog coming as well... got it on sale at blade hq for 54.99!!! Wow
I love the Cormorant so much I bought 4 of them, 2 in 3V, 1 in 4V, and 1 in M390. I am thinking about the S90V version as well, but it is comparably pricey.
I've got the Original in green aluminium , Kizer Mini Bay in red that I gave my girlfriend and on the way is Assassin in red,, C01C XL sheepdog , Kizer Guru with holes and the Justice with blue handles and a satin finish. And i also gave my girlfriend a survival whistle from Kizer. I really like Kizer and will get me this one next, maybe with other kind of blades. But the button lock seems to be getting upgraded on a few of them. This one is a temptation because of all the styles you can open it, and it's just so practical and good-looking.
3 months later how u like it and the 4v.I've wanted this one or the titanium 20cv version that i love but $180.Right now it's between this knife the kizer drop bear and the vosteed thunderbird same as this just s35vn and different looks or hogue deka.I'm driving myself nuts lol.
Hey man how's the 4v holding up? You think kizer was able to pull off the proper heat treatment? If so kizer is really up to something good here because it's pretty difficult to get in on 10v and 4v but evidently it's available and reasonably priced with kizer.

I've always steered clear from non stainless so far but I do have one knife in rex45 and i absolutely love rex45 better then any stainless I've ever worked with so far. It hasn't rusted as of yet but I really look after it and try to keep it as dry as possible. I I've always wanted to try out 4V just to see what the hype is about so I'll probably order this knife just because of the steel but also because it seems fun to fidget with, it actually reminds me of my spyderco smock. We also can't complain about the price even if it is Chinese made because kizer does a decent job and I think the s35vn was priced the same.
@@mikkelravn yeah I saw his video on it. I have two 4V kizers and there both performing well, I would say as good as my spyderco st. Nick's para 3. However my 10V sheepdogs edge retention hasn't really been that good. I haven't put a high performance edge on as of yet but I did sharpen it with the dual sided field sharpening system and stropped it but nothing has changed, it still sucks. Maybe it's because kizer is new to 10V and 10V is difficult to work with and heat treat? I really don't know.
I gont one, then liked it so much I bought another. It is one of those knives that gets better and better!

Outpost76 tested Kizer’s 4V and got similar results to Spyderco’s 4V Mule
