@@maybe4549 also the fact that they made this exculsively for Xbox 360, which allowed them to utilize the full capability of the 360 rather than needing to create a watered down version that would be compatible on multiple platforms.
Best Ace Combat game as far as gameplay. I highly suggest everyone emulate the shit out of it since it won't ever be remastered or rereleased. It has to be played and it's amazing.

They released the game as a free download for pre-orders of Ace Combat 7 on XB1 a year before their licenses for AC6 elapsed and they aren't going to renew it when they can cut new deals for a new game. This is why AC6 is no longer available for purchase digitally, forever. Emulation on Xenia, is sadly the only option for future players.

The online server is still up but no one is in the lobby playing online in AC6. last time I checked it was only me and still waiting today for any updates on any Ace combat channels that would like to go back and do some PvP in this game.
