The guitar solo didn't sound like the original, which was 2 guitars--one with distortion and one without. The guitar solos were recorded backwards. I do wonder how the solo would sound on one of those Talk Back (reverse delay) pedals.
Very effective (pun intended). Sounds like he's running his electric through an effects pedal with a sitar sound, set on a slow attack or maybe he's also got a volume foot pedal to swell the notes in.
I used to go watch them religiously at Disneyland !!!! They are brilliant !! The sound here does not do them justice!! They have to be experienced live!!!!
But...at that time it would not be possible. Maybe if The Beatles were young nowadays, they would have played it live. Anyway, this band is indeed excellent. I admit. I am going to look for more videos with them.
That was a goddamn brilliant cover of one of my all-time favorite songs. John's voice is very hard to emulate in this song, it's almost like a "strong" falsetto (I know that's something of a contradiction, but it sort of makes sense). Even George's backwards guitar solo sounds great. Well done and thank you!
The BEST👍👍 next to The Beatles!!!!! They would have been proud of The Fab Four if The Beatles were all there😊. Well done guys...AWESOME👏👏👏 Peace and Love✌💗
I don’t even play drums but holy shit how did that guy emulate dingo’s loose rhythmic feel on this. On the record it’s so slushy and hypnotic Nailed it yall
One thing good about these guys as well as the older generation reliving the good old days is the Younger kids today somewhat experiencing how it/they were back in the day. Bloody cool at that!!
Great performance, guys! I would love to see more from the Rubber Soul/Revolver period. And Ron McNeil doesn't look anything like, "that monster!" He does a wonderful job portraying John and it comes from his heart.💖😘😎😇✌
There are a few tricks that I know of for reproducing that guitar solo live and they work pretty good. Whatever he's doing he did a fantastic job here. I wish the camera would have been on him at the appropriate time.
sounds to me like he's using a sitar-guitar or something similar with sympathetic strings. That's just what I hear though, could be wrong. Mad at the cameraman for not showing us! haha
Yes they can. They don't perform that song very often, tho. When they're on tour they do pretty much the Greatest Hits package, their words not mine, because they don't have the time to prepare. It's their SoCal shows, like this one, that they do the rarities.
I get too see them in September!!! Next best thing to the real Beatles!! And I wasn't even around when the real Beatles were popular so it's awesome I get to see the best tribute band!! Best Band Ever♥♥♥
There's a TH-cam video that is the full album of revolver, but with different covers or live performances of every song. I'm pretty sure they used this performance for I'm only sleeping, and I think I found the cover they used for love you to
I met him after a show in sacramento, cal and when he saw my t shirt of the beatles playing in Liverpool he pointed at Paul`s bass and said in Paul`s voice, "That`s the bass i played tonight!"
The Fab Four played the "Revolver" & "Rubber Soul albums entirely live and its on youtube. Also did a nice 2 hr medley for PBS..also on youtube. Just search "the fab four ultimate tribute" Check out their website for videos, cds, & more www.thefabfour.com
Why did people dislike this? Because it's not actually the Beatles? That was a great fucking cover.
didn't expect to see u here
@@Wahal087 Danny is a huge Beatles fan surprisingly.
Cant believe I found u here
😂😂😂😂
Mayo?
Playing Beatle’s music that the Beatles themselves didn’t perform live. Simply amazing.
100%
What 😂😂😂do not be silly please 😊😂😂
It's always good to see a left-handed bass player in a Beatles tribute band.
OMG THEY DID THE GUITAR SOLO. THEY DID IT.
Yeah, but it was played tentatively with nowhere near the energy of the original.
Played tentatively? Did you know the original solo was taped and played in reverse? This gentleman did a great job.
It was reversed on the album so I guess the energy that was put into it was George Martin.
there's 2 guitars on the original.
The guitar solo didn't sound like the original, which was 2 guitars--one with distortion and one without. The guitar solos were recorded backwards. I do wonder how the solo would sound on one of those Talk Back (reverse delay) pedals.
Great. I don't think I've ever seen a Beatles tribute do the "1966" look. They jump from Shea Jackets to Pepper outfits.
Yeah most jump from Suit & Tie straight to Sgt. Pepper
Yeah, square sunglasses, Paysley shirts and George with a SG guitar.
Yea, they got the Beatles 1966 look
My favorite period.
A neglected period in most Beatles tribute band acts for sure!
They thought the song was over in the middle of it. Shows how much of Beatles fans they were.
The Walrus I was thinking the same thing Hahahaha.
maybe they were dying to clap and were waiting for a quick pause
I thought the same lol
sometimes some bands do short versions of songs, but still not very good to clap
Gatekeeping fr fr
BACKWARDS GUITAR LIVE??? Wow, this is great !!!
I like the Revolver gear, and this is such a hard song to cut. Well done lads.
amazing how they did the backwards guitar solo
William G Danson that's a shame. It seems he's playing a slide guitar
and wah
Just u a backwards pedal
I wish the camera focused on the lead guitarist while he plays the solo. that thing is hard to do properly because of the backwards guitar thing
The vocal harmonies at "Keeping an eye on the world going my window" it sounds just like the original by The Beatles
Best beatles band in the industry by far
I dunno I reckon the Beatles were pretty good
The Bootleg Beatles are not bad.
+Elmaster XD for looking like the Beatles, but musically The Fab Faux are by far the best.
Elmaster XD I'm talking about the Fab Faux........not the Fab Four......please try to keep up.
try using Google or TH-cam..........
Wow, great job!!
ShartimusPrime didn’t know you were a beatles fan
Literally just got done watching a review of yours 🤣😅
The first time I've seen The Beatles 1966 trough the Fab Four lads; excellent interpretation!! "I'm Only Sleeping" rocks anytime!!
Great stuff. Faithfully done. Nicely reproduced backward guitar solo.
Impressive.THEY themselves didn't dare playing this live. Simply impressive.
But...at that time it would not be possible. Maybe if The Beatles were young nowadays, they would have played it live. Anyway, this band is indeed excellent. I admit. I am going to look for more videos with them.
I believe this is the best tribute band great work (fab four)
Another great job by the FABULOUS FOUR!
Great job, guys! You even nailed the 'backwards' guitar parts. Kudos!
Brilliant, one of my favourite Beatles tracks and that was spot on.
Chills run up my spine when I hear this . Love it ✌🏽️
perfect
Perfection. And they even look a bit like the real ones. I mean, John and Paul,. because they didn't show George and Ringo.
that is the dopest thing i've ever heard. i got goosebumps!! ha
The BEST👍👍 next to The Beatles!!!!! They would have been proud of The Fab Four if The Beatles were all there😊. Well done guys...AWESOME👏👏👏 Peace and Love✌💗
A beautiful rendition of a beautiful song. GREAT JOB!
This is great!!! Love to hear some of the tracks that are more off the beaten path!!!
I don’t even play drums but holy shit how did that guy emulate dingo’s loose rhythmic feel on this. On the record it’s so slushy and hypnotic
Nailed it yall
Oh yes, dingo
Really great job! Thanks for posting! :)
Like watching the Beatles we never saw doing these songs...Fantastic!

One thing good about these guys as well as the older generation reliving the good old days is the Younger kids today somewhat experiencing how it/they were back in the day. Bloody cool at that!!
man he looks just like Paul at 1:50.
+Jo101214 oh my god...
they have a great costume person!
But... but that's George.
@@SuzukiHalwende um no, its paul. He's playing a bass left handed and literally looks exactly like paul
Holograma
Pretty damn good … thanks.
If you close your eyes, it sounds extremely close to listening to the record. Great Lennon vocal.
frighteningly real!!!!! fantastic!!
Damn near perfect!Well done fellas.
Great performance, guys! I would love to see more from the Rubber Soul/Revolver period. And Ron McNeil doesn't look anything like, "that monster!" He does a wonderful job portraying John and it comes from his heart.💖😘😎😇✌
ringo looks so fucking cool
This is quite good.
The guys who do the tribute at the cavern in Liverpool are by far the best cover band on the planet 10/10
Just saw these guys lastnight!
Excellent performance, and John's wig is pretty good too!
Wow, great rendition. I'm going to have to try that one myself. Great inspiration.
Best Cover ever!
Bravo, Bravo Guys - Thanks I'm smiles away. My favorite "B" song

I like your SMOKE pfp
Did the beatles even ever play this song live, ive never seen a live performance of this song
good job
They're good!
im going to see them at pearson park this september !!!
me quedo con la boca abierta :o, amo como canta John
not bloody bad, luuuv....the john guy looks a wee bit too much like mark chapman I'm afraid
I was thinking the same, though we don't speak _his_ name aloud...
The irony
Indeed. He's good in every other respect apart from body type - way too stocky to be John Lennon.
Back in the early Beatle days, you'd be right. But remember that this great song came out in '66, during what J.L. called his: "Fat Elvis period."
alonenjersey still early , period sadly changed in 67'
excelente!
they did the yawn too at 2:08
Soooooooooooooooo BOSS!!!!
Well they just did a special on PBS, and it can be viewed here on TH-cam. I imagine that's better than a DVD.
