Taiga is music inspired by the nature and wildlife of boreal forest. In 2016 Ilari Hylkilä wrote Taiga for Olari Gymnastics Association OVO to be used in their gala show. The original version was written for Tapiola Sinfonietta. In 2018 Ilari Hylkilä arranged Taiga completely for concert band. Concert band version was written for OVO's show in independence day concert (6.12.2018) that took place Espoo Metro Areena in the city of Espoo. The concert band version was premiered by Helsinki Police Symphonic Band & Chief Conductor Sami Ruusuvuori.
The live video and music was recorded by Sound Engine. Music was mastered by Ilari Hylkilä.
