I'm in S.Mia and we are not lacking orchid nurseries, but i have to say since i started following your recommendations (both of you) my orchids are way more healthier. 3:45. Hi. I can’t get on your website. Are you in Texas? I’m in Chicago and have been growing vandas somewhat successfully for years. However , recently a couple plants have started drooping leaves. Still green, still new roots and flower spikes (which I’ve cut off to help the plant). Any idea what causes leaf droop? Thank you for your videos and great information.

I don’t have a vanda YET but I want one so bad. I’m in SE MI so I want to get my care regimen right in my head before I get my precious vanda. 🌺
Love that you offer good care instead of a bunch of crap pumped in there. That is not the kind of thing I want to have to uphold or watch my plant bloom funny or rapidly decline due to the drop in hormones,along with change of environment and everything else.
Loving the videos and the information. I am growing my vandas in western Canada. I thought I heard mention that The Vandaman had some tips for growing in Canada (unless I heard wrong) and just wondered if you could advise which video I need to look for. Thanks!
My vanda orchid have not grown flowers for two years! And it is getting plenty of sunlight. It hasn’t flower since the top got damage and it had to grow from the bottom of the stem. Could it be that if it grows from an area of the stem where it has already flowered, that new growth becomes sterile?
sustained temps below 50 degrees and low humidity are a no no for vandas but many people bring them indoors for this time , Ive seen many hang them in ample window light and water in the shower...
I was enjoying up until he threw the vanda. You bought a vanda just so you could show a mistreated vanda and then trashed it? What a waste. Maybe it is just me but I pride myself on being able to nurse a plant back to health. You could have just gave it to someone who wanted it.
with comments like that why dont you just stick with the other channels who will show you what not to do .... this man has forgot more about growing perfect orchids than you will learn. That orchid was garbage and needed tp be tossed, problem is most people dont know the difference which is why we are trying to help... please dont buy from Tony because all you will get is world class amazing orchids....

This is awesome! I recently received a Vanda as part of a buy 5 get one free deal and really don’t want to kill it. There is a tag, although not an AOS tag, so I’m hoping it is going to be somewhat hardy. I will be happy if it just stays alive. It’s pretty cool having something so different in my collection.
