I grow all my vandas in glass vases, I think it is a very, very easy way to grow them to be honest. I water them for 24 - 48 hours per week, and on dry sunny days I spray the roots in between. Works wonders. Beautiful vandas you grow!
How do you water ur vandas for this many hours and do you have drain holes in ur glass vases… I too want to try the glass vase method that’s why I need to know
@@rajashreegopakumar5906 maybe they mean, by using glass or some aquarium, we can keep the humidity always high almost all the time, that's a good thing for vanda species
This id the MOST informative video i have ever seen so far! Thank you so much! I have a bunch of orchids but i just bought my first vandalism and i have no idea what or how to take care of it but your video helped me so much! ❤
Good to see you again 😍 having a climate with high humidity is one of the best climates for bare root vandas. I struggle with mine here in S'ern Spain ... I hope to have the 2 that I have left, recover. Thank you for the video 👍🏼
Thank you mam, for sharing your knowledge and time with me. I really appreciate your videos, I must try some of your tips. Great job, 👍 keep it up, keep smiling, ☺️ make your orchids happy. Blessings from Trinidad 🇹🇹☺️☺️☺️☺️🥰🥰♥️
I grow all of my Vanda’s in clay pots with no problem. The only problem I have encountered was with the smooth clay pots. Those ones tend to develop mold and become slimy over time. I have all of mine in rustic terracotta pots because it’s more porous. I water when once a day during the summer and two or three times a week during the winter.
Woww beautiful ❤Thanks for sharing.. I had 4 orchids for over 5 years and all of them died😢. I can't grow any😢. Can you please advise other varieties of Orchids that doesn't need soil(aside from Vanda)? And can grow indoor and Outdoor that can survive Winter( we live in Italy). Thank you.. ❤
My friend and I are wondering which part of the US you are from so we can know if your orchid medium would suit our climate. We live in Calgary Alberta. VERY dry and zone 3 so home temperatures are colder than most US states in the winter.
Hi there I want thank you for sharing about your methods. I planted one mini to Starbucks cup 8 months ago it still blooming and growing new leaf now. Thank you so much 🙏🏼I hope see you more on TH-cam God bless 👍🏼👍🏼
Your $5.00 orchid cost $20,000 in my country. Thanks for making this video. Because they are so expensive, I need to be sure that they get the best possible chance to survive.
💚 Beautiful Blooms 💚 I was hoping to find a way to grow these beauties without carrying 🌊 water. It's so hard on this old body. I grow bare root inside all year (arid climate) using RO water. I, too use bloom booster same as yours and they bloom! Thank you for this video. 💚
If you speak two languages, what are you? Bi-lingual Three??? Tri-lingual Four or more? Mulit-lingual But..... What if speak only ONE language? What are you? An AMERICAN.... Hee hee hee. Your slow and deliberate English is remarkably good. I enjoyed the clip. But I felt it necessary to complement your English. I know it took a LOT more work to learn than growing vanda orchids. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Just would like to ask what country do you live in? Also, how do you know that you can mix those 3 fertilisers together, I mean, is it not too much? Thank you. I would be happy if you answer. Best wishes
Im new when it come of taking care of vanda orchids, thanks you for sharing.

Where do you buy the vanda baskets. Thank you for the info. I learn a lot.
You can buy on line - orchids farms - nursery…..
All my vandas are in pots and blooming..some 4 years from purchase
With medium?!

I agree, never plant a vanda in a pot or vase. All of my 40 odd vandas grow on stakes
Stakes? What do you mean?

I keep Phalaenopsis orchids in tall water tall vases- is easy care - every 2 weeks just change filter .water …
keep water below the leaves.
I hang my vanda orchid outside and sometimes the wind is strong. It spins the vanda orchid around. Is it ok?
Ассаламу Алайкум ва рохматуллохи ва барокатух яхшимисиз?
Guidance needed
we are in a cold climate 5celcius over night in winter will my bare rooted vanda survive under a verandah
I wouldn’t go below 50 degrees f. It might be okay but I would say being it inside if it gets that cold.
How often do you water then since no bark or anything?

Please watch The Vandaman site he has the perfect recipe for BEAUTIFuL Vandaorchids..You will be very happy💕
Vandaman has good info but he is so high strung. I can only watch his videos a few minutes at a time. I would rather watch Emaan's videos.
