Power Washing yes a lot of run off and too much over spray. But got me thru my first season. I bought the Gen 2 system and love it using for roofs and siding currently.
Power Washing I totally understand. I was on zoom with some friends today and they kept telling me about touching my face, I guess it’s on my mind now. It is crazy times for sure but we are all in this together!
So I’m using a 7 GPM 12v system. I’m using a 55 gallon hood tank that my “solution” is in with a 3 way valve connected to my 250 gallon water supply. How do I figure out the best SH to water ratio?
Power Washing thank you for the response. I was looking into that but normally I used an Xjet system but it was small and inconvenient so I want to make a 50 gallon batch at a time. All of my research says totally different things so I’m not sure which to go with. And also when you say your goal is .75-1% how do you figure that out if you’re using a 12.5 SH?
Can you use the x jet nozzle on your soft wash hose ? I made the mistake of ordering just the x jet nozzle without the hose and it cost me. It won’t fit into my quick connect but fits my half inch quick connect on my softwash hose. Any help is appreciated
Thanks for all the value you provide in your videos. I’m definitely saving up for a soft wash system. Until then was wondering if extending the hose on the xjet to 50 feet, having a helper at the bottom inserting the hose into the Chem pail would work for roof washing with a 4gpm pw. I normally use 10.8sh but if it would work by getting the 12 percent I’d get it instead. Anyhow also wondering if you’re familiar with the smartwash single tank system with the 52 gallon holding tank and if you recommend that one. Thanks for your help greatly
You can modify you xjet for less pressure. But still wouldn't use it because I would rather have control of my stream. Works good on tall commercial buildings and stucco. Would never use it around vegetation. Lol
The math is easy. Add the dilution ratio on the card together i.e. 1.6 + 1 = 2.6. Now divide your source sH % by 2.6 to see what % you would achieve. i.e. full strength 10% sH ; 10/2.6 = 3.85% final applied %. Definately works for roofs but you want higher concentration most times. You can spray 2 rounds to achieve a 6%+ final ratio AND use 50' Flexilla 1/2 air hose (cut air hose ends off, internal diameter is 3/8" like Xjet hose but this way more flexible and longer, clamp on each end). Enjoy!
2-3 gpm is correct. 2.5 gpm draws right at 50/50 mix when Xjetting wide open. 12.5% SH should give you a 6.25% mix. It would help if you modified your xjet for less misting.

Yes sir. Absolutely. I did it all last year. Straight SH. No proportioner. Not ideal but works in a pinch
Did you have a lot of runoff?

Powerful Improvements How hard was it to get the hose up there and worry about not falling off with the pressure
Power Washing sketchy for sure. Not safe at all. I would bring my 5 gallon cube up with me. I have a video on my channel
This is a cheat code !!! Thanks 🙏🏽
5% mix with 12.5% SH at 4 GPM
Random question that may never be answered. Well pumps pulling from you water source and mix with the flow? Anyone ever try this?
Hey, just making sure... So if I have 5GPM I get between 1-2% SH? Thanks.
When I click on the links Amazon page opens but it says Influencer page is no longer active or something
Do you rinse roofs in the winter? Weather is about 50
I never rinse unless it dont have gutters
What kinda didtance u get on the X? Should i use my 4 gal or 8
For the pressure washing of houses and window cleaning do you need two different NAICS codes? for only exterior home cleaning.
You shouldn’t need them
Watching this during the Covid situation and you touching your face like 300 times is funny and killing my OCD. Haha - good info and stay safe!
I made this video before this crap started. But is it still habit

lower your throttle to 50% and it will pull more concentrated chem
Yep that's true let's flow more draw
cant find ur store . whats a good roof pump

Yeah that’s a tough one right there. This is why we use metering valves

12v is the way to go
I do like the 12 V

How did you get 4 % with 5gpm 12% sh 2-1
Thanks for all the value you provide in your videos.

It will work but you got some mega runoff. Xjet will shoot a pretty hot mix. You can throw a 6% mix.
Yeah you got to be a good shooter with the xjet

Yes!
Do you recommend the North Star soft wash?
not really. you can build a better one cheaper
@@kingofpressurewash
Hey my man- do you have a quick guide? A parts list/instructions for the North Star softwash substitute!
Thank you for the lonk
How do you calculate the percentage of 4 gpm 10% sh? 1.6:1
He can't that's why he skipped it😂😂

How much could it cost to clean a roof of 25 squares more or less how much could it charge the clients
Can you clean a roof with a foam cannon?
I don’t know never tried it before. I don’t think they draw and strong enough chemical
Very good info! I’ll be attempting to X-Jet a stone house tomorrow!
Yeah it’s pretty easy it’s not hard
Do you need to build your own Roof Set-Up Soft Wash System or can you buy straight off of Northern Tool?
The one off of Northern tool will get you started. But it’s not the best
Thx for helping out!
I just adjust my pressure washer and clean roofs with no problem
That is a big NO NO
Why is that
Works for me
I keep hearing a battery pump ain't that good
Love you
You only needed 3 to 6% for roof
use a 2 gpm pressure washer when X Jeting the roof
How well does that work with house washing? What about a #7 xjet with a 8gpm wouldn't that make it 2gpm?
2-3 gpm is correct. 2.5 gpm draws right at 50/50 mix when Xjetting wide open. 12.5% SH should give you a 6.25% mix. It would help if you modified your xjet for less misting.
What about 4 gallon per min
@@ajjames3288 just add 75 more ft it will reduce the pressure plus will help if your roof cleaning
Use 18% sh
👌🏼
