Iam born in 1978, an ardent fan of Raaja sir, but able to understand the legend MSV only in my late 20s and early 30s. What a composer, loved his singing and his songs particularly with Kavignar Kannadasan and Vaali

He is way more talented and dedicated person than most of us who are watching this at comforts of our home .

To all the haters out there, tell me one thing. If you thought he was bad, Do you think all the legendary singers would agree to make a show with him?
He has done shows with so many greats ( he is awesome himself) . If it was so easy, You guys can go and interview SPB .

Not only is this soothing but inspirational.. the way he plays and accompanies every song in an amazing orchestration that captures the original in an unplugged fashion... Everyone, aspiring musicians and just listeners can learn so much just by watching him play
@@varunnarayanan14 very true brother. The problem is basically , people don't know of him much. He isn't 'famous' to general audience. So the people came here basically for spb . So they never payed attention to what Anil was playing. It's their mentality . If they knew Anil or had watched his solo performance they would have treated him with really high regards.

@@psychiatrist123 it has been clarified.multiple.times including by Alex that there was no disrespect. Alex is a friend and we have done many shows togrthrr. Some selective edit taken out of context that too for a.show of more than two years ago prevents you from enjoying other things. What more can I say

For people talking about the instrument as a keyboard - it is not. It is a digital piano. Second, two artistes are together - performing. Kindly comment positively. Both Anil Srinivasan Sir and SPB Sir are great! Looking forward to part 2. And Anil Sir the playing is just too good. What compositions by IR and how nicely performed here.

I worked in A * P….Nellore as well way back 1974-1983…across Guntur and Rayalaseema in Sales and I have had interactions with SPB ‘s close friends…what a phenomenal guy …down to earth…. And truly a legend…on par with Kishore / Mohd Rafi…I cried inconsolably when he passed away…
Just listening to the man talk is manna to the ears. Balu garu is a treasure of Indian music.

2. Thanks for NOT shaking the camera and doing unnecessary amateurish edits and effects which spoil the production
3. Thanks for NOT spoiling the audio with cheap microphones and hiring unprofessional sound engineers who equate loudness with quality

15:34 Not only mesmerising capacity of IR... also astonishing capacity! IR composed this song by whistling.... lying in the hospital. He was admitted due to throat infection and the helpless producer very reluctantly had to request IR for the tune... coz of Rajini's call sheet! IR whistled the tune on a tape recorder in the hospital..... his team did the recording in the studio. Now... one of his masterOpiece.
