The whole game feels like an expanded post game of both games. Feels great to have YRP at dispatch on a handheld, lol. The battle system definitely inspired the synergy battle system from Final Fantasy XIII.
What chapter can this be done by. Even if it is just the egg and/or grid? I have been grinding in Ch 1 mastering Blm, Whm, War, Thf, Gunner, Gun Mage. Trying to work on Song for support. Wanted to max them as I got them. Last time I played this game was when it first was released on the PS2 many many years ago.
My scheme isn't as fast, but also requires less setup: - Intrepid Garment Grid (Triple AP) - Use one character at a time (gain additional AP for KO-ing individual Fiends) - Djose Outlaws (four Fiends to defeat at a time = more KO bonus, plus they're weak and you'll be able to spam non-damaging moves to your heart's content) - Crimson Ring (commands won't be interrupted by Red Elementals' attacks, plus heal any damage caused by the Coyote)
Thank you ! Great setup for early AP farming... And I said that cause I just started my first playthrough since PS2 version, I'm in chapter 1, and by following the first steps of Primalliquid Early OP method, I've already got everything needed (except maybe a Crimson ring for each of my girls)
I got inspired by your early AP grinding setup with some differences: - Used all three girls & three dresspheres at a time - Fought Nightmare Begins (Wild Wolf x2 & Bully Cap x2) instead of Djose Outlaws (Red Elementals multi Fire is laggy & drags out the fight longer) - What chapter did you start this on? Started my setup on Chapter 1. I stick with Djose Outlaws until I'm strong enough to slug out Shiva as fast as possible.
Just a question and it might be not related to this video. Are all Garment Grids needed to get the platinum for this game? There is one Garment Grid I can't get which is the Reward on Lightning Rod Tower where you need to calibar 10 towers. It's really a very frustrating mini game
@@KindredCVS thank you so much! That's what I needed. By the way great video as well. I'm actually starting to use this video for AP farming. You got a new subscriber here
@@Eyes-Scream0213You don't need to perfectly calibrate all the towers. You only need to perfectly calibrate 5 of them and at least try out the rest. That suffices.
No. The same ability (i.e AP x3) does not stack. But any combination of accessories and garment grids that give AP x2 and AP x3 will stack to give you AP x5.
@@GlairGullwing I think the story is equal to most of the best titles it just isn't as sad and traditional which is kinda an awesome breath of fresh air to me that I don't get tired of honestly.
@@JuniAku I did an AP grinding trick that doesn't involve Chapter 5 at all. I started around level 40 for a fast Shiva kill on Chapter 3 at least. Setup: GG - Intrepid Accessories - Fiery Gleam (Bikanel Merchant) - Snow Ring (Shiva Steal)/NulFrost Ring (Protochimera OS Steal) Battle: - Don't worry about Heavenly Strike. Around level 40, the Stop hardly takes effect even without protection. - Attack + Firestrike damage adds up. Even more with chain damage & criticals. Sure she'll evade it at times, but she'll be gone way before her Diamond Dust arrives. - Snow Rings or NulFrost Rings are defensive options against Blizzaga as most dresspheres (except Blk/Wht Mages & Psychic) Magic Defense aren't great. - For Blk/Wht Mage & Songstress DS that lack a physical attack, I'd make one of the girls that DS while the other two physically attack.

Dude thank you so much. This helped me with my AP needed for my dressphere trophy.
Happy to help! :)
Amazing video! Glad to see newer videos about this game!
I linked to this video from my (far less advanced) video on AP. Great content!
Thanks!
Wouldn't Magus Sisters be better for pure AP grinding?

Does this work with the Intrepid GG

Fortunately, you do not need to get every Garment Grid to acquire the Platinum Trophy. :)

I have a question about this, I have two Ap eggs on each character and I think it been working quite well but will that get the ap up faster?

While I hate the story, this games combat really is fantastic
The story isn't that bad.. just not on the same tier as other entries ^^

Is it true that if you complete the Shinra bestiary, then you get the option for new game plus regardless of where you are in a playthrough?

Chapter 5
