??? As much as I love the Sims 2, its CAS is pretty bad and definitely not up to today's standards. There are literally only 4 skintones and 2 bodytypes available ("fat" being just a bigger butt and some belly). It's definitely a product of its time.
i love the sims 2 and i don't think graphics are even bad the details they put in are amazing plus the sims 2 is the only game with proper water physics they went above and beyond the only thing with create a family that's not great is skin tones and then overall body can only really have 2 types but id gladly sacrifice skin tones and body types for the details and game play that comes with the sims 2 it's still the greatest

It's nice to see how the graphics evolved overtime, and sims 2 looks amazing! I only have sims 3 and 4 so I know almost nothing about the games before them, but they look pretty good!

Island paradise was really my ish! I love so many from sims 2 , sims 3 , sims 4 but Island Paradise i think i was living my best life at the time! I loveeeeeeed it! I only had The Sims original, no extra packs. (The first Gen)
you actually did a great job. im trying to find what the load screen says after you "edit" in create a sim mode. its for an IG reel where i use sim symbolism to mark me "editing" my sim characteristics to fit my new life better. i cant find the screen anywhere
Its funny how The Sims 1 Lillian looks exactly like how people dress in the 90’. Those long hair, crop top, and shorts. Then the sequel just looks like a game from the first generation.. 🤣

You can! Just get a skin replacement and put some effort into using the sliders. In my opinion, they are so much more detailed than the sims 4
