Develop Enhanced Protection of Median Openings Between Parallel Bridge Structures 0-7021-01

Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI) researchers conducted research to develop a Median Opening Protection System (MOPS) for use where there is a gap between two parallel bridges. The project included full-scale crash testing and identification of characteristics which could be used to identify locations that can benefit from MOPS implementation.
