Fire Emblem Character Spotlight: Fir
Jill, full name Jill Fizzart, is a playable character from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn.

I’ve grown more respect for Jill even to this day from character and gameplay-wise.
Jill is great.
jill is great. but overrated.
True that she may be overrated but that does not make her bad, and besides she's on the Minerva archetype and she does that archetype proud!
Jill is definitely my favorite Tellius unit and may even be my favorite unit in the series

I like to point out that Jill's support in tandem to the base conversations and story events is parallel to the events within her support conversation. Like how Lethe/Jill B-support will reveal the history of Tellius to her omitted and tampered knowledge of the continent and coincidentally in the same chapter (desert map with Muarim if I am correct) you get the B-support, she will have a base conversation with Ike, though slightly vague about the allusion of the history, that she doesn't know the true history and willing to venture with the mercenaries to fully realize herself.
Then you have post-Serenes forest chapter parts, you unlock Jill and Mist A-support where they will directly mention the beautiful hymn that Reyson and Leanne sang and that convinced Jill that Laguz, are too, beautiful --Oliver
I wish supports in Fire Emblem does this more, coinciding supports and story events. PoR and RD is the reason why I fully realized my fondness of the series, despite the two being my 8th and 9th games after already a lot of playthroughs of other FE games.

By the way, not that much of Haar's dialogue in PoR is cenetered around sleeping. In base conversations and around his commander Haar has a lot more substance to him.

One of the best female Dragon Knights of the Tellius series of Fire Emblem, yep she's an easy 10 out of 10 on a female Dragon Knight from the Tellius series and what's the best part on Jill is that she's on the Minerva archetype and she does that archetype proud!

yeah you won't see an argument from me on Jill's rating, she's pretty perfect as a designed character which is funny because she's also extremely flawed as a person.

Sadly I had a somewhat cursed Jill against my utterly blessed Marcia in my PoR run so she couldn't really show off her capabilities.

Man, remember when refines really were just +5 to 2 stats when being 2 spaces away from a certain weapon type? Those were the good old days. You’d never actually see that nowadays...I hope.

@@pokefan7446 Personal Brave weapons Mt is around 11 or 10 if you're Cordelia, so an PRF Brave Axe would have around 11 MT.

Jill & Zihark were easily my favourites from PoR (+ wholesome man Mordecai) and them being the OGs of the Dawn Brigade that seemed to be the only ones actually questioning what they’re doing (and not subsequently ignoring that cuz pretty girl like Sothe) just made me love them even more.
Absolutely hate the Haar pairing tho, feels incredibly creepy to me when he’s basically a father figure to her.

I will say as someone who rates characters based on stats and growth rates without stat boosters, I do feel Jill in RD has a very rough to almost unbearable start in hard mode and the combo of 50% hp with 35% def (albeit her base in Defence is reasonable) makes her very vulnerable, adding onto the problems is at base pase she can not double and setting up a kill can be quite hard as 1-6 enemies have a combo of being too fast for Jill to double, but too slow that sothe can double pretty reliably or so Bulky Jill cries a bit in her lackluster single digit damage. I will also minorly drag Jill for the 45% strength growth as it is just inconsistent enough to not path up her strength fast and ended up stat screwing Jill in my RD hard playthrough to where I dropped her after that chapter. I will however say if you can transfer bonus over strength and a defense bonus, my issues do clear up and stat boosters in her works too, it is just a strategy that contributes to a usual pitfall of FE in item hoarding.

I just best fire emblem radiant dawn and path of radiance. What Im surprised is why haven't you done a Haar spotlight??! Im so surprised how much dialoge he has with many villains and bosses. Hell even had one with Lehran . He ,highkey, is a very worth using to get all those dialoge during bosses.
Considering Haar is from Begnion and left because he was disgusted with the corruption in the senate and the Laguz slave trade, it felt for me that he could finally let loose all the pent up emotions he had for them.
This is amazing! i love characters that can learn with their actions and past mistakes, Jill is the best example of this type of characters.

Sad that you didin't mention her battle quotes with the begnion senators in the tower (Sephiran, Lekain). Because she is extremly aggressive, want wo kill them and blame them for nearly everything, what happened to her father etc.
I was very shocked at the first time I read these battle quotes because it came out of nowhere and I didn't except this extreme side of her character and mercilessness. But after my second thougt I could understand her.

20:19 Dracoshield for Nolan, energy drop for Jill. Edward has pretty good strength growth for a myrmidon and Jill has fewer levels to grow until promotion.

In Talrega battle i always deploy jill as a frontline unit to dispose of the siege tomes, but i never used her to fight Shiharam, instead i used her to kill Petrine that was like a past herself because of the laguz hatred. I'll look forward for the next character spotlight whit the hope that it will be about Caspar 👍
2 years late but I always at least allowed her to talk to Shiharam so she can _try_ to convince him. Even knowing that it won't work, I don't want her to ever beat herself up thinking about "what if I tried talking to him?"
Under no circumstances do I ever make her directly fight her father though.

Use your free Reinhardt and B!ike.
Do Aether raids and do the daily Grand hero battle battles for free units. There's so many orbs In the story chapters you can get like 4K Orbs which garantes like 4 or 5 +10 Jill's (44 Jills). So yeah definitevely save Orbs since you can also summon for free. Also do the 2nd chapter of each book to get a free 5 star. Fjorm is meh but Peony and eir are good. You also get 2 brave heroes so pick your favorite but the best ones are Eliwood/Camilla and Dimitri/Edelgard. Anyways most important have fun and build your favorite units.
@@oof5992 Wow, thanks. Most of the stuff I'm seeing on guides appears outdated, so you've saved me a lot of searching.
At the start after the tutorial you get a free 5 star hero summon. I went with the Camilla that uses a healing staff because I didn’t have any healers to start with before the summon. So I would recommend summoning the healer Camilla (Camilla: Light of Nohr) as your free 5 star summon just in case you need to heal your allies at some point when you start playing the game after the tutorial.

I thought wind was weaker than thunder, and thunder was the strongest?
I thought it went - Wind light fire thunder dark
(weak to strong in terms of MT)
wind and fire are a lot more accurate than thunder while only being a few points weaker. And most of the time the few points of attack are less significant than the chance to miss with thunder. So with stronger he meant generally more useful.
I think Thunder is considered weakest because it barely have much Mt above Wind but are still nearly as heavy as Fire.
In FE10, Thunder is actually weaker than Wind (for some reason). In FE9 and FE13, Thunder > Fire > Wind in terms of mt, and vice versa in terms of hit. In FE10, it's Fire > Wind > Thunder. Sadly, Thunder is still the least accurate; its only advantages over other anima is its increased crit rate. In FE9, however, Wind is probably the worst, because in the Tellius games, Mt > Hit, hence axes being so strong. A lack of a bow (and crossbow) weakness is part of what helps Jill and Haar trivialize parts of FE10.
Generally, Light is weaker than anima (but is the same as thunder in FE10), and dark is stronger than all. So, in FE10, dark > fire > wind > thunder = light
