I love how tranquil it is, but at the same time has that foreboding feeling as if you're facing against someone who knows you better than you do- and you can't do anything other than feel fear.
This does feel like pre amnesia doctor, just a cold opera song, while the battleground is silence that is sometimes broken by the dying screams of the enemy. No time to react. No time to run.
@@greentea23ooga80 Yeah, I was going for that at first, but I went with one leap ahead because that means in a dramatical way, the Doctor was veeeeeeery ahead of their opponents, and when others took two steps to catch up with him, he leapt even further.
I don't know much about the Arknights, but do all the characters in the story know the Doctor's previous personality or did they meet him before he lost his memory? Because I heard that the Doctor lived a very long time, so are all the Arknights characters old??
Some of the Rhodes Island people already know about him when he's commanding the Tower of Babel (the name before Rhodes Island) And also some of the races in arknights have a long life expectancy, so it's pretty common to see long lived individuals in arknights universe aka Terra. But for doctor? His race remains unknown so we don't know how much life expectancy the doctor has
@@fauziytMy friend, have you already passed the Lone Trail? In this event, we were ambiguously given to understand How Ancient the Doctor is. And also what race he belongs to.
Depends on the context of "old" that you're referring to. During the civil war, then yes, some who managed to survive knows the doctor. Way past before that? No

They are an alien race that escaped something from outer space that nearly caused them to become extinct before arriving on Terra since prehistoric times. They planned to turn everything on the planet into a data storing rock called Originium in order to hide from whatever they were fleeing from. But things don't go according to the plan. During the Doctor's cryo sleep, a civilization arises on Terra and the Doctor's Originium infects them with magical rock cancer. Because of this, the Doctor was awakened early to help cure the rock cancer before being accidentally thrown into a civil war and becoming a warlord. In the end, the Doctor decides to continue to carry out his plan and turn everyone into a rock. But he lost his memory before he could complete his plan.

"If you think that you're one step ahead of me."
"Think again."
"I'm one leap ahead of you."
"We both know that this game of chess will not end with a checkmate."
Cringe as fuck
"Oh please, by all means, stay ahead of me if you so wish. By the time you realize you only made yourself a prey for the wolves, I'll be long gone."
“Two steps ahead”

And when arknight has reached the final chapter and the boss you're fighting is the doctor himself
Finally, some chess music.
After going through Babel Event Lore, he truly did control everything, even his own misery 😢
Really nice piece of art hope you keep up the good work
0:54 " that all you wanna say ? " "Checkmate"
I love the track, I don't think it's very true lore wise it should be darker, more threatening and invasive
I believe the reason it's so calm is because it's trying to say the doctor is this calm. So it's not chaotic due to the method of the madness
Its so good to bad I grew up with PVZ 1 and it reminds me of it
It gives me angry birds vibes at first.
wish i found you sooner
good job

When I first saw the name, I thought you’d stolen Isaak Wolf’s song, glad to see I was wrong.

Could someone spare me there time and explain pre amnesia and post amnesia doctor? Lore wise

Sounds a bit goofy
Tbh it feels like those demonic fiends theme from chrono trigger. Its also fitting for multiple roles such as jester or joker
