Greg and Brandon's great Ferris Bueller reference @31:19 just zips right past everyone. Greg set him up, and he knocks it down, but nobody else noticed. I SEE YOU BRANDON!
Andy just unlocked a memory for me with the AR tests in elementary school. I also won personal pan pizzas from those! Can't believe I forgot about that. Lol
Andy alluded to it briefly, but Arnold Lobel was a closeted gay man which is why Frog and Toad were "friends." Couldn't sell books about gay amphibians back then. Also, as a librarian, I never thought I'd hear a discussion about Mercer Mayer and Richard Scarry on this of all podcasts.
I remember reading The Great Brain back in the late 1980s-early 1990s at our school library. It had a lot of similarities to characters from the Tom Sawyer stories. This was a series of books and I enjoyed them immensely. Blew my mind that Greg would bring this book up. I haven't read it since I was a kid but I've always remembered it.
I'm the same age as Nick and I remember reading RL Stine kids horror books BEFORE he came out with the Goosebumps series. By the time Goosebumps came along I had already moved on to more adult books.
Greg is right about Little Cesar’s used to be great. Little Cesar’s in Detroit is still amazing, and they have the Detroit style they were founded on 👌
I know most of the Lads say they are not readers but for people that love video games Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin is a fantastic read.
All the Papa Johns in Riverside closed down and they put a Dominos in place of the one I used to go to all the time. 🤣 the disrespect! hahaha Just changed the roof from green to blue.
the book series that i would read as a kid were by richard scarry, it was just picture books of animals doing mundane human jobs, i always found it fascinating lol
I love whenever Greg just casually makes it clear he’s been rewatching the classic seasons of the Simpsons presumably showing them to Ben. Mono = one Rail = Rail.
I like Hoult as an actor and trust Gunn implicitly but I am sick of having young looking Luthors. Hes a character that could be played by ANYONE at any age and for me Lex is more intimidating when hes an older (than Superman I mean) character that thinks he has his shit together as far as power in Metropolis is concerned.

great to see Jones. Miss him on Easy Allies but happy for him and the family!
I love when Greg brings the energy in the first 2 minutes of the KFP lol
Love to see a Jones appearance.
Always good to see Jones, dude is a legend of the industry.

Man, I really hope Brandon does an audio book reading for this project.
he already has!
@@TrooperSixtyFour Whoa! that's sick, i'll check it out! Thanks
Nicks parents and their night time snacking sounds EXACTLY like my parents life 😂
BRANDON JONES!
Holy shit Andy unlocked a long buried memory with the accelerated reader testing

The loom was a major plot point in the movie Wanted. I'm surprised Andy doesn't remember it.

I like you guys being at the hosts table. You guys have the Studio podcast energy
I'd like Tim (and the whole crew) to explain betting odds lingo as a topic. After that ad read I can tell it will be hilarious. 😁
When I was little, I gave myself a swirly for a bag of skittles that I never got.
Great Brain has a whole nother meaning nowadays

When my parents baked chicken or turkey, they'd leave the greasy pan out in the kitchen, and I'd keep getting a fingerful at every opportunity.
That sports betting ad better pay enough to run the company for the whole year to make up for how gross it is. lol

I like the new display on the desk, the old one was hideous
Fuck yeah Jones!!
Love seeing Tim rocking a Kith sweater

"Hurt me daddy"
Mista Lu’tha - Otis
0:30 in and oh god (or Satian) Greg found out about the new Superman casting hide the mangos y’all!!!

Its Wooster-shuh, and we all know its stupid
ANDY GO HOME
