    I am so glad you guys are covering this video I was thoroughly disgusted in the behavior of the officers and their sheriff. Explain to me why our tax dollars go into buying such expensive body cameras if the officers refused to use them. It’s for their safety and ours. It should be made law that when they are on an active car or having contact with the citizen that the camera must be on at all times and unmute it. This turning it on and off at their leisure to conceal the corruption needs to stop. It needs to be made law and they need to be held accountable. The corruption within these departments has got to stop we the people deserve better when our tax dollars go to pay these tyrants.

    How about making police academies two-years of training, with at least half of that time dedicated to law, specifically Constitutional law. In many states, a GED and six month's training is all they get.

    Regardless of how obnoxious you may think Dan's methods are or how annoying he is to listen to (or any other 1A auditor for that matter), David is correct. Law enforcement officials who don't understand the constitution and the laws they are there to enforce is bad for everybody.

    • @ottotater2787
      @ottotater2787 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think the only people that are claiming these auditor people are only obnoxious, are people that just want to blindly trust all authorities.
      There's a large portion of society that will always fight against proper accountability or pointing out professional inappropriateness because that means the citizenry having to put forth effort
      and think
      and be that active American that we're supposed to be to keep freedom and liberty working.
      People want somebody to come and save us from power hungry people without US citizens having to put forth some type of effort to keep it that way as if that kind of rainbow and lollipop fantasy world could possibly exist.
      People want this fantasy life where freedom doesn't take our personal ongoing effort.
      Citizens are lazy and ignorant and as a result we have way too much power hungry people abusing there authority.

    If Officers in America don't know or understand the laws, should be immediately fired. If you don't know the law, don't work in law enforcement.

    • @ottotater2787
      @ottotater2787 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh that's not correct. I mean morally I can understand where you're coming from, but if somebody "knows" the law then why are they going to take a $20 an hour job getting their ass kicked and getting shot at?
      When knowing the law means an air conditioned courtroom and charging a client bigger money.
      Police do not know the law and will not "know" the law because the law is too complicated for a cop to understand. When an attorney goes to court, he doesn't know the law. You may have some familiarity with some already addressed laws but he still has to look it up. That's what I used to do was look up traffic law for attorneys. I was a consultant of traffic law. We in my circle were often focusing on lane usage law because of his overlapping relevance to traffic engineers rules and uniform rules of the road throughout all states. Every state has a drive in the rightmost lane except while passing law. Federal mandate requires each state to have its own individual drive in the rightmost lane except while passing law and cops will argue that that is not a law. We frequently frequently used it because it is a law in each and every state. Drive in the rightmost lane except while passing is a federal requirement therefore it is an easy law to know will exist in each jurisdiction so we use that to our advantage.
      Everyone was taught the same thing in their driving handbook and driving class and everyone has universally forgotten this although it is still the written law on the books. Drive in the rightmost lane except while passing and don't impede something that's been taught to every single person with a driver's license but that doesn't change the fact that everyone has universally forgotten it or ignored it or had their father and mother tell them not to do that to get one lane and stay there or something like that therefore we have all programmed ourselves to be able to argue against any type of legal reality and cops are trained to do what they're told and follow superiors orders so if they're told to go and force against grandmothers with blue hair then they're going to believe that it's illegal for women to have blue hair, but cops will argue speed limits and other independent, accurate and proper laws that do not negate lane usage because just like everybody else driving cops are ignorant and they see the speed limit sign and they're constantly reminded that well that's a law we can enforce that one we'll learn about that one.
      Cops don't know the law, cops won't know the law, the law is too complicated for anyone to know.
      It takes attorneys and us consultants to be able to handle the law in court for a client who is confused about what they've been charged with to fight against the cop that doesn't know the law with his department backing him up that also doesn't know the law. Expecting a cop to know something that complicated, there is nobody out there that knows the law, not even the attorneys that hire me to first research and then tell them what the the specifics of an individual law is.

In laymen terms - if they pay more attention, ensured proper funding, education, training, had in place stringent hiring practices - events such as this would drastically reduce if not dissipate all together. So yes, the community bares responsibility wether they like it or not because they failed to ensure proper funding.
      Just as, if the tax payers were more astute - they wouldn't have elected criminals into our white house - yet that has been done and now our entire Nation is currently suffering as a result.
      Law enforcement is failing, criminals dominate our entire fabric of life - it is now up to "taxpayers" to address this issue or continue to suffer.

    I like this auditor. When he came into the office, he did not make a stink at all. He greeted the deputy at the door, signed in, explained exactly what he was there to do (none of which he is legally bound to do), and went on his way to do his business. It was the deputies that caused the stink this time around and the auditor asserted his rights in a (mostly) calm and matter-of-fact fashion. Kudos to him. Shame on the Wyoming County Sheriffs (only one county over from me in Western NY).

    Boy this video got traction pretty quick! The way these deputies conducted themselves was an absolute embarrassment and One of the most shameful things I have ever seen. The mentality of that female deputy (at least I believe it was a female), thinking she’s above the law going hands-on, and then saying sarcastically “ arrest me”! The contempt and distain that Leo’s have for the public is absolutely nauseating, something needs to change, and hopefully that dinosaur gets put out to pasture!

      Speaking of MAGA pricks...I just Googled this sheriff dept. to find out if that old crusty c*nt got in trouble. She is. I also discovered that the Constitutional 'auditor' who filmed this whole thing on his phone, Dan Warmus of Alden, NY., started making & posting videos like this of him 'educating' public officials about our Constitutional rights only a few short months after getting himself arrested for participating in the Jan. 6th riots at the U.S. Capitol. Apparently he pled guilty & is scheduled to be sentenced on Sept. 12. What a guy. It's not only those sheriffs...but it turns out that EVERYONE in this video is a certified a POS 🙄

    Police in the USA are often described as ‘military-styled’ or ‘paramilitary’, but I think it would be more accurate to describe them as ‘militant’. There are far too many police officers in the USA who have neither the training (hair stylists study and train for a year, police train for 16-24 weeks?) nor the mental aptitude to conduct themselves.

    to play devils’ advocate, if a homeless person, without identification or the ability to write their name down, came into this public building looking for government assistance…
    IF this Sheriff was worthwhile, he would have seen the opportunity to explain (while keeping eye contact with camera) that this man’s activity is legal & protected, but would rather perpetuate their ignorance, fear, & ego(s) to make a joke of his department & the oath he swore to! stand up for your rights!
