    The prosecutor should be sued for a malicious prosecution and prosecuted under title 18, as well as the Police Officers involved.

    It is a well documented precedent that, when in a public place, you have no reasonable expectation of privacy. You can’t stop someone from filming.

It seems a huge percentage of the country wants to tear everything down for perceived threats but what would come next is probably police state. You proved we can get back our freedoms and preserve the constitution. I don’t think we can get a better one.

    This is fabulous!!! Thank tonJim Jenkins. He is the lawyer that too LIA’s case PRO BONO!! We need more lawyers like him. Willing to stand up for people and against the system at no charge! And thank to the Judge. He was not going to play along with the system and made his point from the beginning of the trail yesterday by ruling to allow filming. They are pro constitution people. Thank you!!!

    Why can't these people understand that there is no reasonable expectation of privacy once you are in a public place.
    Now, areas can have restricted levels of access or even restricted use of cellphones or cameras. But areas accessible to public, there is no reasonable expectation of privacy.

    As a person of color & growing up through the 80’s & 90’s I longed to see Justice like this occur. Over time the camera was made widely available & the Justice is happening. I can’t tell exactly how many times I’ve been stop by police for no reason, just riding my bicycle by choice.

    Let me tell you with the passion for freedom and with the fire of anti-tyrannical public servants, cops, and their cronies, I would slap them with the civil rights lawsuit for taking your private property, treating you like a nobody, physically harrassing your person, and the list goes on, so on! You've got to make an example of Berwyn because it was the library, the police station, and the county courthouse all treated you and we the people like old garbage. Absolutely file the suit!

    The city had prior warning that pursuing these charges would lead to a lawsuit.
    They clearly, knowingly, violated this man's civil liberties, but we all know that qualified immunity will not be pulled, and the city's taxpayers will once again foot the bill.
    What's the difference between local government and organized crime? Because, I can't tell

So unfortunately I don't see the payout being that high. The question here would be regarding qualified immunity. Does Ruth Siaba Green who caused this entire situation have qualified immunity?
