Thanks Michelle! This is my fave lesbian movie of all time and it really helped me feel normal growing up in a conservative society. Probably because of how much I can relate as a closeted Asian doctor (I mean, I didn't think I would be one back then haha - what a coincidence!).
O! M! G! I can’t believe this! Saving Face was my very first lesbian movie and all time favorite!!! I even watched it with my parents and we are Chinese. I kind of educated my parents about lesbian with Saving Face! Oh gosh, It was 13 years ago. Time flies

Omg thank you so much! You have changed lives doing this. When I was a young queer, I found some saving face scenes on youtube and immediately made it my mission to go out and find the movie. I watch it at least 1-2 a year now! Thank you for the POC representation, too. Seriously one of my favorite lesbian movies of all time
Rare to see a lesbian happy ending. Nobody died. Nobody cheated with a man. All those stereotypical stuff. None of that. Both of the leading female characters are a boss. They are leaders in their own right. Asian actors. Asian director. I have no negative thing to say about it. Flat out one of the best movies that represented minorities and underdogs.

I loved when Michelle and Lynn were playfully arguing for a second as their character and for their character. That was amazing. This was so cool. It's as close to a DVD commentary as we would ever get. I know you guys edit these down but would love to see them comment on the whole movie, which I am sure they did too. Thanks!
They were really into their character's perspectives on what motivated them. I can see why the acting in this movie was so good.

what a dream. saving face is my absolute favorite. the fact that it was a very specifically Asian American story (not just blank characters that could be cast Asian American), the switching back and forth between English and Chinese, the fact that it wasnt another "I'm only gay for you" trope, the fact that it didnt involve infidelity, just the drama that already exists in the vulnerability of a new relationship, even that Wil failed at the airport, that instead of a grand gesture, it was about growing up and being ready this time, getting that second chance. And I absolutely love Lynn and Michelle, love them, love their rapport, love their faces

After 15 years, I still have to say that this is THE BEST lesbian movie that I've ever watched. Not only about the tough Asian society/culture, but also 2 women had an amazing chemistry. Look at them now, 15 years later they're still in touch and be friend. Thats why the message delivered so well. Thank you so much to Lynn and Michelle. Y'all did a long-life lasting movie not just for the LGBTQ in general but for the Asian's lesbian community. This movie will be remembered forever.

This movie was so important to me growing up because at the time there was already so little representation, and then suddenly this movie existed and it was so relatable in so many ways, from the whole culture thing to the whole being an lgbt Asian, that it absolutely changed my life. I watch this movie every year, funny and heartwarming and an absolute gem. Thank you so much Michelle Krusiec and Lynn Chen and Alice Wu for the phenomenal work you guys put into this life changing movie!

I didn't know there was an LGBTQ movie about Asian people until my therapist told me about this movie and I absolutely love it. So awesome that you guys got Michelle and Lynn to join! This movie actually had a huge impact on my life. Being a gay Asian it was really empowering to see 2 lovely women loving each other and showing what a relationship should be. They also really showed us the difficulties that Asian women had to face so thank you so much ❤️❤️

OMG... The first time I saw Saving Grace, I literally watched it 10 times in a row for a week, when I get home from school, run on the treadmill, etc. I loved, loved the movie so much!! I can't believe you have Michelle Krusiec and Lynn Chen as live guests!!! Wow!!
I hadn't seen this movie so I just watched it (it's free on Amazon prime) and I LOVED IT!!! it's such a good movie!! It's so funny!! The scene when Vivian's mom calls and leaves her voicemail is hilarious!!! This is definitely the best lesbian movie I've seen!! There was no stereotypical crap!! No men, they both know they are gay, and I loved that she was a surgeon!! Fantastic movie!! Finally a lesbian couple movie where the relationship is just a relationship with no bullshit!!
The movie has hilarious post-credit scenes where both families and friends get together. Would have loved to see how Lynn and Michelle would react to that!
