some of the best drone footage of barbados i have seen in a long time. especially at shark hole. keep up the good work. will definately revisit these places on my next long anticipated visit to post covid barbados
Hey Ed, Covid is really messing up a lot of plans for everyone. Funny you mentioned the gun again. That video was supposed to have the gun in it. We went searching for the gun, but we couldn't get to it. The military were conducting live firing drills around that area so we had to leave promptly. We will try to get back there again!
@@WanderingBajans Gotcha on the live firing drills, just as we were walking out of the area after exploring the guns, an army vehicle approached and they put up a red flag to warn of impending live practice. I've been there 3 times and that was the only time we were faced with actual live rounds.
I have 2 questions, firstly any idea why it's called bottom bay and also what would you like to see more of on the island. Eg more attractions, more shopping facilities, more tourists, what be great if you both could answer that. Thanks once again for sharing
The name can be found on the 1873 Parsons map. It is derived from the name Joseph Bottom. He is listed as a resident of the parish in the 1715 census and his property, clearly identified on the Mill and Mayo Maps, was located on the bay.
Words can't describe the beauty of Barbados but your videos do. :-)
Thank you so much! 🙏🏻
W O W....you are getting better and better, unfortunately this makes one miss the island even more!
Beautiful the water is so clean, clear and blue, makes you want to dive in

Shark hole beach ?where in Barbados is this
Shark Hole beach is located in St. Philip. The access road is two right turns before you get to Sam Lords Castle (if heading towards the castle)
