Hey guys. We love to watch your vlogs about Barbados. It’s our “Fix” till we can travel again but will be back for sure. We were there in 2016 and stayed at the hotel just north of Speightstown which is now closed. I believe it’s going to be a Beaches resort. We fell in love with Speightstown and so thoroughly enjoyed your tour. It bought back many happy memories. Keep the vlogs coming guys and stay safe.

Speightstown has changed a little since 2016, but not a whole lot. Unfortunately the hotel you stayed at which was called Almond Beach Hotel was earmarked to become Beaches by Sandals but unfortunately that project also hit a snag. Currently the area is under stalled construction. Hopefully something will go back there soon as it’s such a stunning area. The beaches in front of there are just amazing! Anyway, we are all good for now, however, we have not been able to get out to make as much videos as we like due to various restrictions but hopefully we will start back soon. Fingers crossed. Thank you so much! Yes there are many great spots. Be sure to head up to Animal Flower Cave (North coast). Beautiful spot. There is a restaurant there you can have a bite to eat or a drink while overlooking the cliffs. Keep the kids close if they are very young when walking out by the cliffs. 10 minute drive away is the Barbados Wildlife Reserve (Zoo). Lots of green monkeys and other wildlife there. And just another 5-10 minute drive from there is St. Nicholas Abbey train ride. Kids would love this. Great experience for the whole family of all ages.
Loved the video guys. great content. I used to get the $1 yellow mini bus from Graeme Hall up to Speightstown and back for fun, and to listen to the music, when I first moved down there in '90. Gorgeous shot of the beach and sunset at 9:50ish lovely. Banks. ugh. I think I've had two in my life, projectile vomited both times. LOL.

Couldn't get on a plane and enjoy the beauty of good old Speightown.Was borned there had my early education there and walked those street .Now it's just a pleasure to enjoy the beauty of on the screen. WOW! There was a bakery there back then.if you had 3 cents to buy a salt bread you were rich.The aroma of the salt bread you could just inhale if you didn't had that 3 cents to purchase one. Enjoy the beauty. And the beach.For now I have to pop in the bath tub.lNever did like large body of water. ISLAND IN THE SUN
@@maureenboycehurley1337 Fr. Living here i always just seen Barbados as a regular old place since I've been here my whole life. But watching a tourist on a screen enjoying barbados just reminds me how beautiful it actually is.
@@MM-gp9mb wow .Sometimes the beauty right before us we miss because of the cares of every day committment.However Very recently I had an unexpected trip there to attend an unexpected funeral.But I didn't even get to go sight seeing but surely observed the progress of the island.and the wealth and thrifty works of the poorest inhabitants. God's continued blessings upon Bimshire.Let God arise. And let the rain water the earth.and bring forth increase.
Thank you very much. There is very little seaweed at the moment. But the seaweed is cyclical. It comes and goes. Can be a bit or miss. Where we get very lucky though, is that while the other coasts are sometimes plagued by it, the west coast rarely gets any. So at least there are some beaches where you won't find any of the seaweed, regardless.
Fisherman's Pub was one of my favorite place in Spieghtown. I had lived there for over five years . I love banks
