I wanted to add a slight amendment to my Bucky segment. The scene where the "Acey's" are curious as to why Bucky doesn't exhibit the physical signs of being part alien despite his grandmother's origins sees him as immediately defensive and dismissive. That's a legitimately good detail the film could have used more of. Although it is somewhat derailed by his almost immediate acceptance by way of boarding the mothership.
"Bucky is a wonderfully conceived character" is a pretty huge stretch considering during the earliest scripts he was written to be a white cuckold while Zed (who was black and not even a zombie) steals Addison (Bucky's white gf) and his nickname was "cucky", lmao. Disney rejected this *big time* and the main writer had to change it around to be less fetishistic and creepy in order to get his script accepted. They changed it so Zed's character was a zombie, the first film is a very thinly veiled allegory, and Bucky is only Addison's cousin (should ring a bell like how the old dub of Sailor Moon changed a lesbian couple into just being "cousins") so that Bucky's concern and defensiveness of Addison vaguely makes sense, even though he ultimately gives up Addison to Zed. All the ingredients are still there, they just hid it a little better lol.
1 year old already! It has the most spirit, the brightest colors, and you could tell they had a massive budget for this I was actually tapping and humming more of the music here, too Plus a nice surprise twist with Madison's character finally discovering her roots paid off The ending almost feels like a cheat but it's all good material when teaching kids important lessons of collaboration, teamwork, self-belonging, and love overpowering bitter rivalry I recommend skipping the second movie if you really like the first one, this latest entry is the better follow-up Not quite as strong as 'High School Musical' or 'Descendants' but almost up there
@@madnessarcade7447 the thing is Zombies, Werewolves and Vampires have more in common like having to be bitten to get turned into one and in the Werewolves and Vampires cases are nocturnal, not to mention they all feed on humans which is especially true for Vampires who need human blood to live
I realized how much Zombies actually makes me very uncomfortable. It’s basically a Disney Channel movie with necrophilia. It sucks because the actors are cute and some of the songs are bops but the dynamic of a human and a zombie being in love makes me kinda sick.
Zombies 3 was great, it just needed one of the main aliens to actually be an antagonist instead of all of them being assumed as such so it could be better because I think it needed one.
People won't just tear this movie to shreds because it's a movie that wants to be about something, but also because by nature of being a disney channel movie it's something pointed at the demographic of teenage and tweenage girls. And the things that young girls like ALWAYS get the shortest end of the stick when it comes to pop culture hatred. From Twilight to the Hunger games (or the whole thing about teenage dystopias even), even when the things that teenage girls like are actually kind bad, they get beaten SO much harder than could ever possibly be deserved just because that's the demographic that likes it.
I didn't mind the story. After my son got me to watch all three, i can honestly say that zombies 3 is a zombies lite edition. It felt like it wanted to go into into trickey questions, slightly brushed over them because it wanted to be light hearted. Not that its a bad thing, I found it still enjoyable. But, it's like it figured out how deep it was willing to go in Zombies 2, and didn't want to go that deep again.
The movie’s theme was about striving for PROGRESSION instead of PERFECTION it tells it right imo It’s ironic that u didn’t love a movie about spreading love lol
Ok It’s not disrespectful to make more movies That was 1 of 1000 potential stories They honored him they gave all the fans and cast and crew closure Now it’s time to meet some new characters who haven’t had their stories told yet that deserve to It’s a huge world with thousands of stories waiting to be told Why limit themselves There is more to that world then them 99% of the world is unexplored and I want all of it explored I wanna see descendants movies set in Olympus and neverland and arendelle etc There is so much creative potential there They can do a new story and still call it d4 think about it like the mcu D1-the wedding was phase 1 D4 is the beginning of phase 2
While u enjoyed the more deeper meanings to Vicky’s motives and behaviors 99% of the other people enjoyed his wacky ridiculous antics and shenanigans so they leaned more into that for the third one which I’ve seen most people adore him making a fool of himself Like a lovable goof
based off the title I disagree I find it heartwarming and charming and whimsical and wholesome with very contagious optimism and positivity I thought they handled the larger budget in a good way it’s a more ambitious movie than the first two I feel like ur being unfairly cynical imo Edit: maybe it wasn’t perfect but it was still a fun movie I think addison just likes to help others and ur just being way too harsh These lyrics were part of Z2’s gotta find where I belong Everywhere I go Don't feel like home Even my parents, they act like they know Guess I have to leave to finally see If there's someone out there and they're just like me Then I'll go Yeah, I'll go

I will argue that Bucky might be Addison's cousin through her father not her mother
Are you thinking of reviewing the rest of the Halloweentown films?

Addison was so annoying. She is the kind of person who would find out she is 10% French and her personality would completely change.

I said it in the Zombies 2 video and I'll say it again, they should've used Vampires instead of Aliens
Vampires would have been cliche
Aliens is more unique
Outside of comic book stuff this is the first to blend super natural and extra terrestrial
@@madnessarcade7447 the thing is Zombies, Werewolves and Vampires have more in common like having to be bitten to get turned into one and in the Werewolves and Vampires cases are nocturnal, not to mention they all feed on humans which is especially true for Vampires who need human blood to live

If you think that's bad, you should see Warm Bodies which is basically the same thing
Not really they aren’t dead just mutated
It’s more like Disney channel version of mutants
It’s just a movie lol
Also they aren’t dead more like mutants considering they can reproduce
@Failingpepper 11 I said that but another person says it too

I think it's a mistake that they went the 👽 route. It should've still been supernatural
The movies would have improved if Bucky took a shovel to the face and he either bites the dust or suffered memory loss. You can't change my mind.
Oh my God we should write this. 😂
They are releasing prequel shorts about the aliens before they came to seabrook if u wanna review those

Since I’m sure you have the list somewhere, why don’t you make a top ten Paul Hoen DCOM video?
The movie’s theme was about striving for PROGRESSION instead of PERFECTION it tells it right imo

Someone's an open no show, here blabbing onto them like this was a safe haven of cinema.
@@Justatoadyallit’s a cute wholesome comfort movie
They announced an animated series so unless u wanna review that you probably won’t be reviewing zombies for awhile
Can you watch the LA Complex All The Episodes Are on TH-cam and then can you review it. I would love to hear your opinion about it.
Fortnite aliens
They're seriously making a 4th Descendants movie after Cameron Boyce death
It’s not what you think it is
It’s more like a phase 2
New story new characters
Ur overreacting
Ok

Why limit themselves
There is more to that world then them 99% of the world is unexplored and I want all of it explored
I wanna see descendants movies set in Olympus and neverland and arendelle etc
There is so much creative potential there
They can do a new story and still call it d4 think about it like the mcu
D1-the wedding was phase 1
D4 is the beginning of phase 2
It's a prequel film so his character isn't even in it. The production values look better than usual so let's see if it's still good.

I think addison just likes to help others and ur just being way too harsh
These lyrics were part of Z2’s gotta find where I belong
Everywhere I go
Don't feel like home
Even my parents, they act like they know
Guess I have to leave to finally see
If there's someone out there and they're just like me
Then I'll go
Yeah, I'll go
I haven't watched a Disney dcom after the descendants movies I have never seen Zombies and should I check it out
