I have a Camshaft Sensor error and the garage told me that if I got the error cleared then the chances are the car wouldn't have started so he doesn't think it is the sensor, I got the error cleared and it started no problem and the check engine light comes and goes. Garage said they think it's the the Camshaft Chain that has went and I know replacing that is a real pisser, to replace it the engine needs a fair bit of stripping down, but I notice my car has a black belt on it like the car in your video, I thought that was the timing belt, do car have a chain and the black belt like your car, the belt I'm speaking about is at 01:20 in your video.
Can you please confirm the part required for a crankshaft position sensor there seem to be lots of options even when putting in the reg number. I have a 2005 Vauxhall Corsa twin port 1.2. LX05OGR thanks
Interesting to hear that it can cause non-start. Much easier to get to, much harder to break than the crankshaft doodad. You Idea for something different: show all the doodads stuck on the outside of the engine with a bunch of wires clicked on. What they are, where they are, what they do, how they go bad, what happens if, how common a fault. Etc. All those damn hoses, pipes, tubes, etc., metal, plastic, rubber. Ditto for the doodads. For someone more familiar with fiddling with points, distributors, etc., these new things are evidence of aliens.

Error code P0335, is camshaft, or crankshaft sensor ? Are you sure ? On the codes list I read fault of Crankshaft sensor.
