    I agree that with practice, muscle memory makes it easier. This is inspiring to new sim drifters and racers since no one is good on their first try. Cheers man!

      Yes just gotta stay positive, I know is frustrating when you keep spinning out or crashing but is all about staying positive, eventually everything will click. Thank you for watching 🙏🏾

    I think you were already better thaesn 80% of the people I see on Drift Playground a year before. What gets people on that track are the camber changes but you dealt with them pretty well in the first clip already.
    Liked the visible left foot braking too. Always a good sign IMO.

    I've recently started drifting in AC without a handbrake. One of the major problems I had was the wheel's configuration. It was hard to find presets and finally found one after 1 week. Its fun but gets frustrating

      Just stick to it you will be sideways in no time. About your settings I’ll suggest to lower your force feedback don’t have it too strong, start increasing it little by little when you start feeling what the car is doing it, don’t forget to have fun and enjoy the process thank you for watching 🙏🏾

      you can bind the handbrake to the spacebar on your keyboard and keep it to the side, thats what I do and it works great for drifting and tandeming also

    Fantastic video.
    I also use T300RS, and your self-steering (counter-steering) looks very smooth. Could you tell me your FFB setting?

    This video helps alot man but I got a question do you tune your cars or just use them as tou get them

    • @SmoothDrift
      @SmoothDrift  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m glad it helped you🙏🏾, keep at it you will get it in no time. Yes I tune all my cars but I’ll say if you just starting stick to the wdts car pack don’t focus in tuning , to tune you need to know what you car is doing to be able to tune the area where you feel you car needs it, if you starting you might not be able to tell where the car needs tuning since you might still be learning to hold a drift or to not spin out. Wdts cars don’t need tuning as they feel good as they are but later with tuning you can make them more responsive and feel better. Hope it helps , thank you for watching 🙏🏾

    im currently drifting with a phone gyro using an app called monect as i don’t have a wheel. considering i don’t have any countersteering i’ve learned to drift a bit decently. i have my gameplay on my channel live section. would i be able to drift with a wheel if i get one?

  • @chiccoka
    @chiccoka 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

    So at 4:45 you do so slow with minimum amount of throttle. My car is now just goes back straight. I can’t keep it in drift. Should I try to apply a bit of break?

    • @SmoothDrift
      @SmoothDrift  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes that’s what I was doing there adding left foot brake while steering as well. just need to make sure you synchronize your left foot braking with throttle or you might lock your front wheels.

    how big of a difference between T3PA pedals to the stock t300rs pedals? Worth the money?

    • @SmoothDrift
      @SmoothDrift  ปีที่แล้ว

      For me is a big difference, is soo smooth and there is not play like it doesn’t move side to side. I upgrade the spring and it feels really nice. I might go back to my Csl load cell pedals soon tho kinda want to change for a big. But I recommended I have to say it will be a little hard to find right now is discontinued.

  • @Horre123

    why did you go from custom wheel to stock?

    • @SmoothDrift
      @SmoothDrift  ปีที่แล้ว

      I was just playing motorfest and needed the buttons, felt a little lazy to put the other wheel on when I came back to ASSETTO lol planning on keeping it like this, I also my upgrade to the dd wheel base soon.

    2 weeks and feels like zero progression. Can't catch the wheel on the right time and always oversteer.

    • @SmoothDrift
      @SmoothDrift  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Be patient you will get it just focus on throttle, you should let the wheel slip through your hand while you control how fast it rotate by controlling the throttle. Stay positive thank you for watching 🙏🏾

      Drifting i set FFB to 3/4 what i do for racing (this is my mantra when switching from sim lobbies that drift to race. you notice the difference heavily (me) and catching a drift is way easier at 75% what i race at. just an opinion to try. drifting doesnt need heavy force feed back, just enough to catch,flick,and feel! makes longer sessions easier on the body to if your going ham
