I'm loving your bongo videos 👍🏻 I'm learning loads from you 😜 so thank you for sharing 🙏 my first job is a self bleed kit 😜 good luck on the move 💪 don't work to hard and stay lucky
Hi mate i have a bongo myself had it for 7 years, some of your tips really help, PS are you going to do a vid on the self bleed kit ? I have one but haven't fitted it yet. Cheers. John
For got to ask. Where is the washer water tank for the rear wiper. The wiper wipes rear window but washer squirty doesn't work. Cannot hear any buzzing from pump etc. If there is a pump. ?????? Cheers from George
I'm pretty sure it's fed from the same water tank as the front jets. Mine didn't spray at first, but I let run the pump for a while, and eventually, it sprayed. Maybe the line went dry. 🤔
It definitely uses the same tank and two separate pumps at the bottom. According to the Facebook groups, the rear pump is difficult to get hold of, but a front pump can be adapted. I do know that the rear washer tube runs up the passenger A pillar and along the headlining on the passenger side to the back.
Many thanks for video. Glad it wasn't too serious. I've got my diesel Heater installed now apart from I need to drill big hole for air intake in passengers bit under seat. Rather than in engine compartment. Ps had same water leak but mine was near where metal T joint. Cheers from old George
Hey mate thanks for the videos, do you know what the long metal pipe that you put the new piece of hose on to feeds? I only ask cos mine has no hose attached and I assumed it was a disused aircon pipe
The replacement hose we fitted is the coolant line to the thermostat housing. The pipe that goes towards the rear of the van from there goes to the rear heating heater matrix. Some people blank these off if they leak or don't use the rear heating.. 😁
Was the split pipe installed with the self bleed kit or an original? I've installed a coolant alarm, but can't find the courage to install the self bleed kit I've got sitting there.
Had a 626 years ago in Ireland, same issues with hoses and the water pump went in the end - old mazdas had terrible cooling, but i loved that 626

Thank you 😊 dreading the move, especially with a living reef saltwater fish tank to move too. 😬😬
@@LS10Works fingers crossed all goes to plan 😜
Bleed kit fitted 😜 it was so easy to do 💪
@@SheDigsitUK awesome.. Well done 👏 ✔️
So looking forward to your self bleeding instructional video.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. 😊
Well done.👍 I've never had any problems with overheating but will be interested in the self bleeding video when you make it.

Is it worth getting one
Absolutely. They're great fun. Just keep an eye on the mechanical aspects and you'll have a great time 😁

It was a 28 Yr old original hose which split on mine.
Coolant alarm is on the list for me now 🤣
Have you got a low coolant alarm, if not they are a must have early warning safety feature 👍
Nope. Definitely wish I had one now. But it's something I'm going to fit 😁
Oh no 😭 watching 👀
Hope the head gasket isn't damaged
So far, so good. Gonna have a gas test to double check, but it seems to have come away unscathed 😁😁
@@LS10Works Good stuff, thank god for that
Touch wood my Bongo's been OK, still abit suspicious of the fuel pump.....but seams to hate the severe cold? Warm days its fine 🤷♂️
It'll soon be summer ☀️ 🤣
@@LS10Works might give it a heated blankets this crimbo? 🤣
