Cheers fella for all the helpful videos of you working on your Bongo, good to have someone run through it visually with a good camera set up, angles and editing. Is there a video on your mate replacing the crank pulley, what's involved and all that? Thanks
Learning a lot watching this, I've got a V6, Alternator is in A different position had a look around for it, and just found a belt loose down there, not attached to anything! Not had any issues since removing it, not sure why it was down there!
Ah that's weird. I'm not familiar with the v6 but it may have 2 belts on the alternator like the diesels could be one come off. I'm only guessing though I'd have to have a look to know properly. Hope it's all good for you 👍
@Redbrickpie I have replaced the aux belts and my friend has now replaced the broken pulley and done the cambelt, tensioner and camshaft oil seal while in there. It should be out on my next Bongo video 😁
@@LS10Works I'm going to stick my head in and have a proper look when i get the chance. Don't know what I expect to fins, it's all a learning curve, but it's fun learning!
Check out “what’s wrong with johns Mazda bongo” by home mechanic. He has exactly the same issue with his multiple pulley shaft. They all b3 came loose.

Definitely is fun and good luck 👍
Think you've inadvertently solved my mystery rattle on my 2ltr petrol? Exactly the place on mine the rattles coming from and have to check it?
Apparently it's quite a common thing on the diesel. Definitely worth having a look at yours 😁
@@LS10Works fkin been driving me nuts for months? Is there a spigot pin that breaks holding it?
Crank shaft pulleys goosed is it?
Yep, going to order another this week 😁😁
@@LS10Works had exactly the same issue, better to find and fix than not know 😉

That’s a common fault you need a new pulley, I seen on another channel one was the same and it lead to all sorts of issues best change
