Two items ,,, That Color is Chevron Green all day, Chevron adopted that color way back in order to blend with the environment. They called it Sage Green and I'm sure it comes in various shades.. Amazing ! Also, those wheels by Alcoa,, Made Mexico ? Cheese, anything made in the USA anymore ? Love these Trucks !
Hey Steve, could you tell us how many options there are for the wheels (dura-bright, mirror-polish etc) and the pros/cons of each or why we might want one over another? As always, keep up the great work!!!
Nice and rather unique color, needs a second color for contrast and to make it really pop. EDIT: a few interior trim pieces are okay with the color but for some reason I have in general not liked the dash panel pieces painted with the exterior color.
@@SteveCarbone ok , awesome, i would hope a rig that expensive would have a way to prevent fuel theft or the possibility of fuel contamination, nice machine no doubt.
Is there a reason why this truck has a pusher axle with dual tires instead of steerable pusher axle with 425 super singles?? Wouldn't that be lighter?? Is there a dramatic price difference??
I heard you can get a two speed auxiliary behind the Allison, but you can’t get the 2050 torque and you can only get a 565 is what I was told. I have a 605 now with an 18 speed manual and a four-speed auxiliary behind that.
Custom headlights tend to not have a very long life and finding replacements while on the road can be tough. When these trucks earn the top money that they do, they can not afford to be down or parked because of being clueless or ignorant towards classic style headlights.
Best colour I have ever seen on a truck magnificent piece of gear.

Somebody has the be the leader....
The first two heavies were home runs. This one is a grand slam! Kudos on the spec.
Thanks Jerry
Loving the video dump the last few days, beautiful rides!
This rig looks awesome. I love it.
Thank you buddy
Beautiful truck!!
Really like that color, looks great..
Damn, you guys are killin’ it.
My crew is on fire right now

Love the enthusiasm, over 5000 greens available and this is not Chevron or Sage
@@SteveCarbone Yeah whatever, I used to Contract field work for Chevron and that's one of their chosen Butt Ugly Colors. LOL 😆
@@SteveCarbone Yeah I used to contract with Chevron installing facilities on well sites. This is Chevron Sage Green.
Wow ! My kind of truck ! Just would like the wood trim better and platinum interior with a 80” sleeper and auxiliary unit also !
That one would have to be named
“Butterbean.”
Good looking truck!
Ok
That color is awesome
Thank you
I don't know man. There's something about that low vis green that's just sexy Steve!. She's gorgeous and speced really well. Great job man
I appreciate that James
Very very nice love the color
I appreciate that
Love the color❤

The color looks like that I believe they call boxwood green. It looks like the same green that came on my 69 Ford bronco.
I love that ford color

So nice!
Do operators ever order tridem drives or just lift axles wondered if the extra traction would make a difference
Some do
I’ve always thought a Black Cherry with Black Cherry Frame would look good.
Why doesn’t Peterbilt offer wider hood fenders instead of that plastic lip for trucks with 385 or 425 steers?
I assume the lips are just more cost effective
How much would this truck cost
wonder why this beautiful piece of machinery does not have a locking fuel tank system ?
If you mean locking fuel caps it sure does

Application and location is everything
Is the side Peterbilt badge an option to be removed and add the peterbilt lettering
Yes
Man if you spec a truck with a two speed weight of the truck isn’t a big concern 😂
How much they go for
I understand that it wont be answered, but im truly curious what the price tag on this would be to buy? $275,000?
@@justanotherotrguy 300+
@SteveCarbone yea i kinda figured with it being heavy haul especially. Are these usually bought and paid for or do folks finance these?
300+ #absolutelypathetic
One of the new guys asked, what does it weigh? I said does it matter?we have to haul it???
lol
I just thought about it triaxle heavy haul on military color
Drive line saver is a old hand who knows what he’s doing!!!
Yes, just doing all we can to reduce down time

Don't worry about it little boy ur not the one driving it
The military never looked this good.......
Why are sales guys so clueless and ignorant on the classic style headlights? The repeat-alien headlight style gets ugly and old quick…
For the love of God shut the hell up about the headlights u couldn't afford the lug nuts on it little boy
My 379 has 359 headlights and turn signals on the fenders. It wasn't easy drilling those holes in the fenders.
@@Unduplicatable why the hell are you worried about the headlights for ur not the one driving it so STFU
Not everyone hates the "alien" headlights. Some people realize that classic headlights belong on 359s, 379s, and 389s.
