This was awesome to watch in person. There were a few other classes racing some older petrol powered stuff. But the main event was these electric rally cars and they were far superior, much faster and the way they jumped was much more level and controlled. Very intresting and exciting to watch, thanks for coming to the UK. 🇬🇧
Idk. Global Rallycross was around since the mid 2000’s, the World Rallycross championship has been around since 2014, and European Rallycross has been a thing since the 60’s I think. Nitro Rallycross is pretty new though, and this is the first race for their new electric cars. Peacock has the entire 2021 season if you want to watch more.
I am afraid that although the cars are fast and the racing is close the live event lacks the drama of previous years owing to the lack of noise and the build up of excitement prior to the start where we had the sound of cars going through the clutch/tyre warming phase. I suppose a plus point though is that we have no trouble hearing the fantastic commentary by Andrew Coley.
These are fun to watch I bet there a blast to do. I wish we had more stuff like this in America! Here we got drag strips but that’s 10 seconds at a time this is far more fun to do. Don’t get me wrong doing a 135mph in a 1/4 mile on a bike is a blast but it’s over to soon. Takes to long to get another run to especially on really hot busy days. You might get 2-3 hits a night! And it takes a high dollar car to be competitive unless you got a junk yard laying around throw some z-28 engines in some small car and go run it! Throw you a nitrous system on it for few hundred bucks and run it’s nuts off. That’s what we do!
Why is it everytime ther action ther in a in car cam and we don't see nothing. Its really throwing me off can't see people's mistakes when you in someone car cam
