Definitely want to see how you blended the images together!
I still get so much trouble working out the layers when focus stacking on photoshop... it's not all seamless just clicking on 2 buttons.
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL photograph! And yes I'd love to see how you blend it in photoshop.
Seconded
I would also love to see a video of how the photos were all blended together
Going to third this
So would I
Me too!
I have really enjoyed the Svalbard and Greenland videos, but for most of us, an adventure like that is something we can only dream of. So it's great to see you in the sort of environment that more of us are likely to be able to get to. Loved that print. Always a bit of a challenge when you leave the filters behind!
Thanks for the feedback Dom - I totally understand and to be honest I felt like it wasn't really what I enjoy the most in terms of adventure.
Enjoyed this video and would like to see how you blended the final image.
Please do the Photoshop video to show how you blended those pics together. Very interested!
I love these types of videos of yours. Yes I'd love to see how you blended the images together as I've never done it.
Great episode, I’d love to see how you blended the images!
Would really like to see a video of how your process with focus stacking works!
Noted!
i would love to see the full process of focus stacking... cause i already know how to do that cause i shot i lot of macro so i m used to stack 20 and more photos togheter but i can't imagine stacking 2 identical photos and a third one with water blurred? like where to you focus to auto stack that one ? do you stitch them of do you stack manually but cutting the river and pasting that into the 2 photo stacked? thank you Nigel. loved this video cause at the moment i dont have filters but i will in month or so.
Thank you Nigel, cannot wait to see more of this with you in nature. These are my favorites and where I am learning the most. And yes for the explanation of how you did this amazing photograph.
Such a nice video Nigel, I love that final shot with the swirling water flow!
Another great video Nigel.
Glad to see you back and out and about.
What a great spot to photograph.
Yep the midges are a bloody pain.
Great image's as usual, but my favourite is the one that you printed, it was awesome.
Look forward to seeing your next video.
YAY! I love it when you take us hiking!!!
And if I ever get to meet Noah (the one with the ark), I'm going to have a serious talk about midges with him!
Absolutely would love to see you do more editing
cheers Neil
Yes please - a video on blending images would definitely be helpful!!
Wonderful work Nigel. Incredible Scenery. Would love to see how you blended the final image.
Lovely to see you back in your natural habitat!
Top Tip for when you are being attacked by midges on a still day. Hover your drone above where you are standing. A little noisy but far less irritating than the midges! They hate the wind the propellers generate! Beautiful photos Nigel!
Great to see you back in the UK Nigel. I have to admit, I haven't been watching your overseas videos - almost all of my photos are in the UK. Beautiful images and yes, I'd like to see your stacking/blending process. More like this please.
It's great to see you back hiking, Nigel! Definitely my favourite style of videos. Thanks for sharing these stunning locations and photos accompanied by great tips!
Really happy to hear you will be doing more of this again! Thank you so much, Nigel! I learn a lot from your channel.
Yes please Nigel, it would be great to see more of how you process your images, always interesting and great to be able to learn. Thank you!
Hiking and shooting photos is my happy escape from daily life. I live in central Texas and there isn't a lot of public land here, but I try to find the beauty where I can. I enjoy watching your videos doing the same thing where you live.
Definitely interested in the blending process 😀
A Nigel Danson video greeted me this morning! A great photographic eye. Your videos are full of great pictures and are very well edited. Wherever you are. It doesn't get any better than this!
Thanks for all the brilliant content and showcasing some of the beautiful areas in the UK. Yes I would be interested in how you blend multi shot images as it is not something I have done.
Thanks Nigel, another fantastic video! I've been to that waterfall in Glen Rosa a few times - and once dropped my camera in the stream while crossing at that exact point! Fortunately it was in it's bag and I whipped it out before any harm was done.
Another Scottish location that is stunning but relatively unknown is the south west coast of Mull, between Fidden and Scoor. Breathtaking beaches and lovely pink granite cliffs.
Great video! And yes I would be super interested to watch your process of blending pictures in Photoshop!
Yes please, I definitely want to see how you blended that image together. I always enjoy your videos, but it is nice to see you out and about in the UK again too capturing beautiful images.
Would be great to see your editing process for the print.
Fantastic to see you Nigel! thank you for videos.
I love to see you wonder around again and show which decisions you make in the field. About the blend you did, I think it's very interesting to see how you would blend such a photo.
Yes, definitely create another video on how you blended the images!
I'm a new Z8 owner, thank you so much for sharing your work. I'm just a hobbyist, and the Z8 is a huge leap from my last camera and the learning curve is enormous for me. Please keep sharing your settings, it is so helpful!
Love to see you back in the nature doing what you enjoy !
That is a beauty of a shot that you've printed... Really jealous of it - Be great to see your process behind layering the Image, I do it quite a bit of Exposure Stacking myself, and end up merging with the aim of keeping the long exposure, so be great to see your process, especially as you've already helped me so much with my Photography!!
Super interested in the blending process. This is One of the off field skills that impact how you shoot on the field!
Beautiful! Do what you love! 👍
Yes, I’d love to see how you blended this gorgeous photo! I always learn something when I watch your videos! Thanks a lot for your amazing work available on youtube.
Welcome back Nigel! I missed you!!
Great to have you back. I missed my Sunday morning with Nigel last week. I enjoy you taking us along on your journeys each week and your upbeat attitude makes it fun. Boy those midges look awful, somewhat like what we have in the south in the States called noseeums. I would enjoy a video where you show how you blended the different exposures in the image you printed.
Nigel, Keep up the great work. Love going on walks with you. Love having you explain your thinking in creating compositions and the techniques you use. Yes, please show us how you blended the gorgeous image. Thank-you
Absolutely love to see the blending.
Late to the party on this one but another trick when you ether dont have an ND for your lens, or forget your filters, is to take several images and stack them in photoshop using a median blend mode. This will avg those moving water pixels, and you can then blend in that smoothed out water with your sharper single images.
Great work as always, Nigel!
New video, new location with hike and talk - I would love that !
Thanks Nigel, I do really enjoy your channel and content. I look forward to our Sunday mornings! 😂😂😂
Yes please add a video to show stacking techniques!❤
Midge solution: Dryer sheets (use to attach to back of hat) Smell get them to stay away. Hope this helps. We use them here on our Iowa's golf courses with nats; they do get so very bad in late summer before first frost. Beautiful video Nigel. J
Yes! A video on how you blended that would be appreciated.
Hi Nigel, it seems, that your back got to normal. That's phantastic to hear, that you can enjoy hiking again 😀 Enjoy what you like and let us be a little part of it. Thx for very inspiring vlogs.
Maybe you could need a mosquito or midge head net 😉
Hi Nigel. I like to see the behind the scene post processing in order to learn the different techniques used by photographers and feel it's all an important part of the modern day photography learning curve. This not to say I don't enjoy your other videos so keeping a good balance is the key.mportant. Thanks.
Thanks Nigel, Its great to see you back in the mountains. Yes, I love your Photoshop and Lightroom videos. Also love how you explain how you got your shots. Often I stand out there in the field trying to read the light and compositions and watching your videos helps a ton!
Yes, please show how you blended the images. It's also very good to hear that you're "going back to basics" with your videos. That is what attracted me to your channel more than a few years ago and I'm definitely looking forward to what is to come.
Good news to hear you’ll be doing more UK videos - the sort of stuff we mere mortals can aspire to! oh, and Skin-so-soft!! 🪰
This really helps understand how to build a great image but having a talk through of the blending process would make it complete. Looking forward to more.
Welcome back, Nigel! We loved your video and I am very interested in the photo blending you did for this.
Looking forward to getting back to the beginning. I learned a lot from the videos, and just lived watching them. Be careful with those water crossings - you are not allowed to hurt your back!
I would be super interested to see how you did all the composite work with this photo! Fabulous photos and a great video. Can't wait to see your calendar. Thanks!
Wonderful as ever Nigel. Would love more videos on photo blending/stacking etc. thank you for inspiring
Definitely loved it. I always enjoy your videos, but I particularly love your meticulous breakdown of how you create your images in the field. In fact, I’ve missed them. They inspire me to be more deliberate and patient. Can’t wait for next week. 👏👏👏
Thanks Joe - there will be many more coming up
Yes I'd love to see how you blend it in photoshop.
Nigel, thank you for sharing your passion with us
Great video, Nigel! Loved that shot that you printed, and would be keen to see a video of the blending process!
Greetings from those of us from the Isle of Arran, better known as Arranachds
Apology for the state of our ferry service and hope it didn't cause too much inconvenience.
Arran is the one of the earth's great wonders, Scotland in miniature and best place for schools, growing up and living. Island life may not suit everyone but for those that it does suit, Arran has a magic about it.
The next best place is Tighnabruaich on Argyll's Secret Coast, amazing food and scenery.
If you ever need someone as a guide or to tag along with, just give me a shout...
Great video..
Yes, I am super interested in how you did that! I love your photography. This is what I love so much. Thank you so much.
Really pleased you are getting back to doing the videos in their original format and in the UK. It’s also great that you are also explaining the composition and showing the ones which didn’t quite work and why.
Gosh, I felt for you battling with all those midges! Super photos and can't wait to see the next 2 episodes. Please, please, please - do a vid on blending in PS. Thank you !
Yes, on the photo-stacking video!
I would love to see how you blended the images together! I look forward to seeing your videos each week!!!
Great to sè you out in the wilds again. Great shot and yes would love to see editing video
Stunning image and great to hear you’re going back to more nature hike footage. These are the videos I love most on your channel.
I just came back from Scotland. I was there for 3 weeks, shot more than 3k pictures. The UK is the best! So much history, nature, and the people are so lovely. You are such a good person and one of the best photographers I know!
Yes, I would love to see your edit on that image. Thank you!!!
Stunning images Nigel and Arran is such a beautiful island to visit amd look forward to seeing tbe next 2 installments
Yes, more of this! 😊Also, even though I know how to focus stack and blend I’d still enjoy seeing your methodology. Cheers!
Awesome video as always with amazing shots! And yes I’d love to see how you blend those images into one
Excellent vlog as always. I love them all, wherever you choose to be. The videos where you are traveling, are astonishing and inspiring. Those closer to home are equally wonderful. You should shoot where you are happy. Thank you, Nigel!
Great video. I always appreciate when you include the processing.
Hi Nigel, another fabulous video. Oh so inspiring! Yes, for sure I'm interested in the Photoshop details on your photo. Cheers, love your good counselling on photography.
Good to see you back in the Homeland. I also would love to see a video on how you blended the three images together for the final composition.
Great video. The big adventures were a fun side track, but I’m happy you’re going back to the local photography.
Thanks Nigel - a most interesting video and beautiful photos. Really pleased to hear that you plan to do more of this kind - it's my favourite too. I'd very much like to see the blending technique you used to make the waterfall shot. Cheers!
Happy to see you back in your photography element. Please show us how you do the blending. Thank you!
Great video & top images. In the end, a good mix always helps
I’m glad to hear that you are going to go back to your “roots” of hiking and photography. I agree with others who have said that the other destinations you’ve been to are beautiful, but that those trips are out of consideration for most of us.
Since I will never make it to any of the exotic amazing places I am glad to see you change it up a bit. I would also be interested in seeing how you blended the images.
Loved the video Nigel. That looked like a great spot, midges and all. My vote is for the PS video on the blending you did with the photo of the S-curve creek. Thanks
Would blending many short exposures also been possible to get the streaking water?
And I like to see the blending in PS.
@@simonpayne7994 thanks for the insight
Excellent video Nigel! Yes, I’m interested in how you blended those photos into that awesome image!
Another great video Nigel, I too would love to see how you blend the images and any other top tips you have for bringing out the best in your photos with LR and PS. Thanks for all the time you spend putting all these videos together!
It's always a great feeling to be in your happy place. Another excellent video, what an incredible location minus the midges. I would love to see a video of your method blending the images together. Thank you again for sharing. Have a great week .
Thanks, Nigel, back to your own style videos, which I really enjoy. Please make a video of the post processing you did for these these blended photos. This would be truly helpful. Cheers, Sorin.
Love the trips away trips BUT yes, great to see you back home making vids
Great video and helpful comments. Look forward to your videos
you're a brave man staying with those midges Nigel, drive me insane! I was itching just seeing them! cracking pics too.
PLEASE make a video on how you like to focus stack! I love your advice and videos and I'm very interested in how you do it!
Alwlays enjoy every episode and it is a great way to start each Sunday morning. I would love to see a video on image blending that you mentioned this morning.
Great video and beautiful photos! It was fun watching you enjoy just being there by the water doing what you love and taking beautiful photos. I would most definitely like to see a video of you explaining in more detail how you went about focus stacking the waterfall picture. I have recently started getting more into photography, specifically landscape and wildlife, and focus stacking is a tool I want to be able to confidently use when I need to.
You were the first photographer I followed on TH-cam and have loved everything on your channel. I love the decision to go back to focusing on local hiking trips and the resulting photographs ( and inspiration and knowledge!).
Great video and great shots too!
Another great video as always. Fantastic image. Would love to see that blending technique also
Glad you’re going back to making more videos while hiking in the UK; that appeals to me more than videos from the likes of Greenland and Svalbard, which I’ll probably never visit.
