Richey Edwards disappeared 1 February 1995. He hasn't been seen (conclusively anyways) since then. This video was recorded the earliest 2006 though most likely it has been recorded 2007 or 2008.

I prefer these stripped back versions of this magical song. Fascism has no place anywhere, but this government now is going extreme right wing and it's scary. I love it when it's just James Dean Bradfield playing with his acoustic on this song and he plays a brilliant acoustic version of A Design For Life. Magesterial.
I know Nye Bevan's comment "This is my Truth now Tell me Yours" was the title of 1 of their albums. Bevan was a true socialist in the Labour party after the war and because of him and other great socialist's we have a National Health Service in this country. Bevan would be mortified at what has happened to the NHS he and the other great socialist's created. The NHS would never had happened had the Tories been in power at the time and for all of this countries flaws and there's many because of people like Bevan we can still get free healthcare and housing benefits for the unemployed. I come from a very historical socialist area where the men marched to London in the early 1930s to protest at the lack of employment and having to live on bread and whatever the salvation army could help with, no Social Security or National Health Service to turn to until after the war were my both my grandparents fought the Nazi's for freedom. Just 2 ordinary working class men called up by their country to fight. I'm so proud of them who stopped Europe being ruled by extreme far right fascists. People like Bevan in a Labour government gave us social security and a NHS that the tories have been ruining every term they win and before long the NHS won't exist.
When you delete black people from the directors cut, so who will be the next. Sorry I'm knagging about this, but it's important. I love you guys and saw you on the stage in Oulu Finland. You were great. But kamoon!
