WOW! Just WOW!!! The #Ampster is like everything you always wanted in an amp, without the big bulky amp!!! And it's ANALOG!!! A player could take their ENTIRE rig with them in an old VW, and have PLENTY of room left over!!! Carl Martin, you hit this one out of the park!!!
Wanna know a secret? Most plexi, bluesbreaker, and Zendrive pedals sound great between a pedal board and PA. I can tune those pedals through a PA to sound fantastic. However, for ease of setup, I don't even bother to go that far and I still get great results. I have stereo mod effects at the end of my chain for wider field live. I put one channel into my stage amp and the other channel DIRECTLY into the PA, and then pan that to the opposite side of the stage than my amp. It doesn't sound as good as an amp, and the lack of compression means volume varies more in the direct-line side, but it works absolutely fine to create a stereo field, or just to give the guys on that side of the stage a bit of monitoring of my guitar. You'll have to tweak the gain and eq on your PA mixing board, of course, but that's easy, too. I cut the highs and lows down to 10:30, and boost the two mid knobs to about 2:30. Works like a charm and costs $0. Makes your tone sound huge and it turns heads when you start playing ping-pong delays.
Sounds really good. I am looking for a amp cab pedal. Its funny Pete mentioned Johnny Marr as it had just hit me before that the song reminded me of "That Joke isn't Funny Anymore", which is one of my favorite Smiths tunes! Another killer demo!!!

Very nice, sound's coming out of that thing, it didn't matter what guitar you used. They were sooooo nice, raspy, ruff, deep, smooth with no distortion.. That little thing was very, very impressive.. #Ampster

Sounds great! Can u use this pedal simultaniously with and without speaker emulation? So is it possible to go to a poweramp/cab (or eff return of a combo) without the speaker emulation and simultaniously to a mixing console with the speaker emulation engaged?

Thanks for the video. Can I use a real cabinet with this amplifier? Can this output called "Link" being used for speaker output? I use boss ML2 in live scenes. Of course, I use whatever amplifier is on stage. I have my own mesa 2x12 cabinet. Can I use Carl Martin ampster as an amp head? I think I'll use the xlr output when I'm too lazy to move the cabin. This pedal seems to get me through any situation.
What a great, portable, warm sounding unit. Even if you insist on using an amp on a gig this can be an excellent back up to bring along. Also, nice to have for recording direct. #Ampster
