I read an interview with Del Toro complaining about how the film studios wanted to make substantial changes to the story, introducing a love interest, altering the ending. He said he could not make the film under those circumstances. He says he's a great admirer of Lovecraft and always wanted to make a film of Mountains. Maybe someday he'll finance something himself or work out a deal where he has total creative control. I'm don't consider myself a Lovecraft expert although I have read most of his works and I don't recall too many love interests in there! Your music is amazing.
I was always surprised he didn't have enough clout to make any film he wanted at this stage and not have to deal with interference like that. Delighted you enjoy the music though!

Is it weird that I find these videos somehow relaxing? They help me to write, but not just the creepy stuff, all of it. Something about Graham's music just helps me focus and forget any stress.

I feel like I'm going on a train trip, seeing a succession of crazy, never-before-seen scenes from history, important, weird musics through the window as I pass... there's so much to explore. So many places to alight and dwell in the ambiences that are on offer. This stop, in particular, is brilliant 😜

It is a tremulous if occultly subtle thrill to hear "Lovecraft music" that in the manner of a corespondence out of Agrippa actually share a spiritual umami with Lovecraft's literary issue!
I wish I could hit the like button this a second time. "The Horror at the Camp" is mesmerizing. It could easily replace one of Morricone's cues from Carpenter's "The Thing" and it would work beautifully. It would bring out the quiet menace and nuance.
Right now I'm reading the Gou Tanabe manga with this soundtrack . I am totally inmersed in the story is a total success. Thanks you for this magnificent music work.

I’m reading the manga by Gou Tanabe while listening to this soundtrack and I swear, every time the music gets more intense, it’s perfectly timed to something suspenseful happening in the book. 10/10 recommend trying it out:))
Although the color of space wasnt the best, Id still be down to see more of Lovecrafts works be made into movies. Mountains of Madness and Dream Quest of Kadath would both be amazing to see
