Finally got the book and... I died! No matter, it was an absolute blast! Played it whilst camping... alone... which didn't do my anxiety any favours once the sun went down, but it was still great. I really hope you do more!

I don't think an actual orchestra is involved. Mellotron and so on. Synthetics, many samples. It makes good music to write by, I find.

The intro reminds me a lot of the music and tension of the old X-Com game, Terror from the Deep. Even the Lobsterman is there! Magnificent.

@@CthulhuMythosMusic I've never played CoC or D&D games but always wanted to try. By horror board games, I meant Arkham Horror, Mansions of Madness, Fury of Dracula, Nemesis, ... So it can be played solo? I'm super interested now, sample on Amazaon looks really great too. How can someone create such a great music and also write books? Are you going to direct a Lovecraft movie soon? :)

Both reading and playing the book whilst this haunting soundtrack is on is soo very submersive, Graham Plowman is a master at setting a Lovecraftian mood… add some black candles and incense and let the terror begin………..

Not that I know of, sorry. It's usually 320Kbps in all cases.

It's called a theremin - an instrument used in a lot of classic sci-fi horror from the 50s, and still used a little here an there.

Hi - unfortunately not. While it's easy enough to create and have CDs printed, selling them is another matter entirely...

Presume the modifiers on the health/composure track are cumulative?
Yes, that's right. So if you have 4 Health for example, you have all the modifiers starting at 4 and above on the track. -1 strength, -1 combat, and - 1 dexterity.
Is that a Mi-Go in the art or something else?
I know them as fungis from Yuggoth, but I'm pretty sure they're the same. "Many names, many masks...."
Yes, it's the cover artists version of a mi-go. Many more images inside by another artist, and they are superb.

A common death unfortunately. You can avoid it by finding the sequence before you get to the machine.
